You can now order food and drink via the new CBS app. Well if you're in a corporate area you can, rest of us its the usual free for all.

Its only available on Apple and as we know there is fuck all signal and the wifi is never on so no idea how they expect this to work.

Why doesn’t Greggs start selling at football kiosks?
It would be much better and they’d make a fortune

They already have the barcode for the app on the wall by block 15 so I guess it will likely end up all over the stadium but only for gigs.

When was something not being fit for purpose ever a reason not to implement it at the CBS?

Exhibit ,A - the train station!

Pisses me off that they don’t read out half time scores anymore because everyone apparently can bring the scores up on their phone

Strangely enough, I could get a signal in the stands at half time for the Hull game. Couldn't at all last season, so not sure if they've changed anything?
Wifi still only works in some areas of the concourse though

The wifi was fine for me until about half way through last season. My phone (on O2) shows as having 5G, but can’t do feck all on it.

The “CBS Arena Wi-fi” used to be a free access network, but I noticed it was “locked” for the Hull game.

Although it does mean I can’t look at the this site during the game so, you know, every cloud and all that.

Or post them on the scoreboard.

Come on City start bringing some more tradition back, the use of the 70s font, the playing of the Eton Boating Song as the team runs out , retro stuff are all nice nods to the past.

Clever use of new and old brings a sense of continuity.

Cos when they ask for £6.50 for a steak bake you’ll know exactly how much they’re taking the piss.
