In talks could mean anything though
Interesting - I mean IF we got offered that sort of money for BT (sounds like you squeeze more) then I think you're taking it. ONLY if we have x2 CBs singed or literally ready to drop. Doyle and Hughes would be outrageous.
As per Jimmy87 post, clearly there is so much going on behind scenes. Its going to be an interesting last couple of weeks I think.
You can’t keep saying this when there is absolutely no incomings recently what so everHe can’t go until we sign at least one CB, but £8m is a decent return.

I do like Thomas. He’s a bit of a warrior for us defensively, pops up with a fair few goals for a centre half, and is rarely injured. Still relatively young with time to develop further, but that being said, I’d take £8m for him all day long. One of the worst distributors I can ever recall watching. Timing is horrendous in terms of preparation for tomorrow.
Spot on, we are talking upgrading good players, this why it takes longer, more protracted negotiations etc. Have to keep evolving.Lampard has kind of hinted today that we have good players but to move forward you need even better.. Bobby Thomas is exactly that category.. he’s good but you need better in this league
Problem is, there are no £2m CBs left that we can start again withHow much did we pay for Thomas? £2m? Quadrupling that in two seasons is pretty good going for a centre back.
Milan, Thomas and Binks out.
KKH, Hughes and Doyle in.
Surely wouldn't happen would it
And their defensively in the shit so they will pay more if Doug wants extra, I like Bobby but if we can get Hughes and Doyle in then cracking buisness and so left over for the striker and the window would be a good oneKnowing Doug we can push that closer to 10 million
And youd snap their fucking hands off for that
We clearly had the money for Charlie Hughes anyway, get him and Callum Doyle in, few million left for a striker, great business
You can’t keep saying this when there is absolutely no incomings recently what so ever
all good making profit on players with Jake Bidwell at Centre back and no recognized replacement 10 in the squad re Rudi
whole thing is becoming a bit of a joke
It’s not fifa mush, although it would be niceKnowing Doug we can push that closer to 10 million
And youd snap their fucking hands off for that

We're clearly after a CB with our bid for Hughes, calm down I'm sure DK has it sorted. You can’t keep saying this when there is absolutely no incomings recently what so ever

Hang on, you’re not slagging off DK?Knowing Doug we can push that closer to 10 million

Add Salech to that and I’ll start offering handjobsKnowing Doug we can push that closer to 10 million

No, because as of yet he's not an improvement on Dovin. He could yet be a great keeper, but as it stands, were no better/worse off than having Dovin fit and Wilson on the bench. Tomato - Potato.
I dont think we're weaker in that position, but i certainly wouldn't say we've "strengthened". Especially as the plaster we've used to cover it up with has a January recall. Then we're back to Dovin/Wilson. Thats not an improvement, that's the same!

And if we added Ian Evatt to the backroom staff you'll be offering two hand jobs at the same time lolAdd Salech to that and I’ll start offering handjobs![]()
He can’t pass a ball and is a liability, we could get a lot better for 8 million quidI'd be more gutted about this than losing MVE. I love Bobby.
Hijack for old times stake?
Sack Frank and bring in Evatt, then we can talkAnd if we added Ian Evatt to the backroom staff you'll be offering two hand jobs at the same time lol

Yes this is the thing, its getting late in the window for these kind of outward moves, 2 of the back 4 that started Hull could be gone. Will take a while for any new player to bed in too.Unexpected, but if we can squeeze a bit more out of them it's excellent business provided he can be replaced.
Hate to break this to you but ive got a slight doubt Vardy is going to happenWhat a great transfer window. Looks like we're really trying to whore out some of our top players.
Out:

He's not a liability. He won us more points last season that the majority of our midfielders and strikers. He can’t pass a ball and is a liability, we could get a lot better for 8 million quid
