Played LCB in a 3 for us and has played LB since, and we've been bidding for a right sided centre half instead. If we really wanted him that badly we'd have bid by now. They probably don't see him fitting what we need

I have this thought that we get both, Doyle becoming our starting LB but cover for LCB behind Kitching. Can never have too many left backs!!

A big club that without large away followings (e.g. Blues taking 7k this Saturday) would muster between 10-12k attendances at most, despite having been at the top end of the table.

We have a clear upgrade at GK
High quality competition for MVE (who stays)
And the emergence of Rapha and Kai Andrews who both look excellent from what I've seen.
Bidwell as the backup LCB. Not ideal, but he's an experienced player and has never looked out of place there.

There's clearly money left, but King won't be ripped off (either selling or buying)

We turned down bids for Sheaf last summer (not meeting our price)
We rejected Blackburn's move for BTA in Jan
And if rumours are to be believed we've pushed back on offers for MVE this summer
If King wants £20mil for Rudoni + add ons. He won't take less
