Nobody really stood out.

Bta terrible, biggest impact was taking it off torp as he was about to rifle it from 10 yards
Emc looked slow
Play off wright was back
Sheaf, pointless.

Brau motm for picking the ball up and taking their throw while they were pissing about.

6’s and 7’s. Can’t see how Torp affects games enough. Anonymous once again. Rushworth looked solid and has an air of authority about him. Brau looked promising and Rudoni and Saka our best players.

Can't believe the amounts having a pop at Sheaf on here, twatter and the match thread. Even if you're not a fan, surely you want him fit to sell him for max value. He's played all pre season, and I'll bet nobody is more gutted than him. I reckon some of our own 'fans' actually take delight in him being injured. He's clearly decent at this level when fit and only the season before last was player of tge season and players player. Really weird, especially when Torp who i also like, didn't exactly light the place up before being replaced. Hopefully only a short term injury.

I think this is about right but I’d knock a point off Torp.

Hea been here a good while now. Still looks like it’s his first game at championship level.

Not into slagging players off but I was disappointed with EMC today - I just felt he looked sluggish

He looks quite slow, which could be said for most of the team tbh.

He was just poor. Improved a bit in the second half but you do look at some of the money we’ve seemed to have spent on these players and wonder how and why

Nobody really stood out, but thought Dasilva and Grimes were good.

Don't think Thomas Asante was as bad as some are saying. Worked hard and looked sharp in the early stages, but seemed to be yet another typical strikers performance for us where the game goes on around them and there's few clear chances.

Thought their keeper looked pretty good

Saka frustrated me today, quite a few times I was thinking whip a cross in and he kept doing that cut back and cut back again...ffs sometimes just get it in the box

Rushworth 8 Looked generally good and no barmy bits like we saw in the St Pauli friendly
MVE 7 Some good overlaps, last minute free kick into space was a let down
Thomas 7 Wearing his 50p head gear in the opposition box got headers but they pinged nowhere useful
Kitching 6 got caught napping a few times and had to make a hasty pass
DaSilva 7 as usual good going forward but occasional worrying moments in defence
Grimes 7 Was shut down a lot
Rudoni 7 Flashes of quality and got shot and headed chances
Torp 7 Some nice passes, particularly one to Rudi into the box
EMC 6 Some good bits but had a lot of def work to do
Saka 8 Best player
BTA 6.5 Nearly man, had a lot of potential chances but couldn't get a shot away

Wright 5 Had a few short dribbles on the edge of the box but well closed down, looking very timid in the tackle
Brau 6 Couple of good moments
Allen 6 Steady
Sheaf 7 measly minutes

It's the same on the other flank... both want to cut in & it kills the thrust of that attack.

The management aren't blind to it, and must have no issue with it as they bring in the full back to overlap.

No one is taking delight in his injury, stop being silly. Competition for team is good and that means having everyone fit.

You're constantly cucking for him and people like you are part of the reason there's so much much expectation, after overrating him so much and putting stupid price tags on him.

He's unfortunatley become more of a liability and no longer walks into the team on ability anyway. You're just going to have to deal with that.
