No reason we can't win all 5, but it's unlikely and anything 9+ would eclipse our usual shenanigans.

Reckon we'll win three of them. Last season we didn't do draws, interested to see if Frank and the coaches can grind out those extra few points this time.

Isn't going for thecein grinding out extra points? Risk v reward? Rather win 2 lose 2 than draw 4.

First 4 no reason why not 4 wins.

Then September is a little more difficult. Think it is early enough to show Norwich what we're capable of before they get in the swing of things. A full CBS baying for their blood.

Really looking forward to September. Just 3 league games but Norwich H, Leicester A and Birmingham H. Not too worried as we have 6 winnable games in October 😁

Yeah, but I'm saying if we win three and there's another game where we're not at it, holding on a bit, I want to see that we can turn a few games like that into draws this time.

Too many off days that turned into shockers last season. If we want better this time our bad performances need to be better, not just to be better when we're on it.

I'll go for ten points: three wins, a defeat and a draw.

I'd be very happy with that but we do need to capitalise on the fact that none of our first four matches are too difficult.

The home game against Norwich last season was quite early on and we really struggled. I remember thinking back later in the season that was the first real sign it wasn’t working.

As for this season I don’t see why we can’t get 10 points but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was 4 because we love a shaky start.

Hull (H)
Derby (A)
QPR (H)
Oxford (A)
Norwich (H)

I'll go 8 points.
I can see 10 points. Wins against Hull, QPR and Oxford. As usual we'll struggle to break down Derby parking the bus away and a hard fought draw against Norwich at home.

Norwich have a lot of work to do. They have lost the players that got about half their goals last season. I'm happy to be playing them early in the season just like Leicester and Birmingham straight afterwards.

They've made some very quality signings.

We have the easiest start of anyone in the league.

Surely we can't make our usual shit start with those fixtures.

...can we? 😬
Based on stats from last year!
Derby look really strong (we couldn't beat them last year!) and Norwich have had a great window!
Those two on balance probably the best windows in the league!
