According the advertisement for tender of the new lighting being installed at the cbs it was supposed to be installed and tested by the 23rd July.
Anyone heard or seen anything ?
will it be in place for Wednesday

There was something mentioned in the supporters forum thread about investment made by the club in the lighting. Long overdue imo.

I have been in arena conference rooms recently and observed people on wires around the ground, i assumed this was the light replacements so i reckon this is complete

The light show specifically probably isn't a requirement, but there are Premier League specifications which I don't think we met previously.

That’s far worse than the lights - however the advertising hoarding is better than the lights

I remember an Arsenal cup game at their premier stadium when the lights went off - and the phones lit up
The place - didn’t make any difference still lost by a lot of goals

I wish the stadium had floodlight pylons, it would give the stadium a bit of identity. Was at Edgbaston the other week and thought how good they looked. Perhaps I'm a stadium geek but you couldn't beat walking up to Highfield Rd or Filbert St etc in the evening with these pylons in the distance

I seem to remember Doug King cooing over the pyrotechnics before the Wolves FA Cup game. Surely he’s exactly the kind of guy who would want a big old American-style light show before every night game.
