19/20 away is the easy pick for me, variant of my all-time favourite kit design and what feels like our proper away colours. 97/98 away for second vote as it comes with good memories, although the City Link special was a highlight of the Puma years.

It's on the one in the main picture too in the OP. If you zoom right in you can just about see it.

Still pissed off I missed that game. I live 15mins away and chose to pretent to be an adult and reluctantly stay at home as had a massive project for MA was due on the Monday.... then we won 2-5 and missed Shawy's banger! Stupid decision.

I think it was in that shiny material so was a lot more obvious when seen in person. I'm like you in remembering it seeming more prominent than in these pictures
