I have no stake in this, but would say Celtic are bigger personally. Rangers still have a big fan base but wouldn't say they are one of the biggest or most successful clubs in the world (and would say the same about Celtic). Both clubs arguably could be bigger but for the monopoly they've held over Scottish football, rendering that nigh on impossible.I'm talking in general, not about 2/3 poor seasons (Excluding Europe).

In terms of European success, Rangers are on par with Slovan Bratislava, KV Mechelen, FC Magdeburg & Dinamo Tbilisi in winning the Cup Winners Cup. Don't get me wrong, I'd love Coventry to be able to be on that list, but it's not up there with the most successful clubs.

Clinging on to something that happened in 1690 is sadder than Sunderland fans clinging on to something that happened in 1977.
It's why I have no time for Rangers or Celtic. A bunch of sad Willy Wavers bragging about what goes on in Glasgow while the wider football world pays no attention.
