If you want to show solidarity with Palestine then you can attend this event. I know of a few people who are going but I have other commitments.

They murder people in that fashion every day, so often now that the media can't keep up. As a human rights lawyer, I have no idea how Starmer can know things like this are happening while continuing to defend the war criminal Netanyahu.

Because he’s not a human rights lawyer. He’s Prime Minister and Israel and the US are allies. The wisdom of keeping it that way is a fair question but like questions of why David Lammy won’t call Trump a c**t it’s a bit silly.

Cant make it but I’ll give me GF a slap and tell her to keep her mouth shut out of solidarity.
Your brain has an unpleasent whiff of imagined violent action.

Rather imagined than the crap that lot get up to.

Bloke is a clear wrong un. It's funny watching people who go out of their way to be righteous get in a pickle because he's waving a Palestine flag but beats his missus and tries to bullshit that cunts who beat female police officers are victims. Fucked when there's a trans discussion and they want to act like they are the best person in the world 🤣

Just find that whole lot scummy and nasty and the fact that a bunch of lefties voted them in or nearly voted them in because they care about Gaza makes me sick. Just another set of grifters using tragedy to boost their fame and fortune.

That one in particular sometimes preaches on the back of a pick up truck by culworth court. Just shouting about Gaza and acting like a celebrity.

I’m personally surprised that with everything going on, they found the time to discuss - much less release a statement on - the BBC’s coverage of the third biggest stage at Glastonbury.

Clearly it’s top of mind for Israel. Though Nandy was talking about the documentary with a Hamas member that had to be pulled not Glasto

Not that it ever will be me, but if I was hosting the Israeli ambassador and they told me that a documentary was “top of mind” for them in this current climate then I doubt I’d be grinning so widely in the smiley photo shoot afterwards.

I mean she is culture secretary she’s not going to discuss much of substance.

Come on, be fair. Clearly the most pressing issue at the moment is why the son of the deputy minister of agriculture was doing the voiceover is by far the most important issue we face at the moment.

Personally I think the BBC should have been immediately shutdown when this shocking information came to light.

Clearly not time for the culture secretary to ask why Israel blocks any journalists reporting from Gaza.

It’s grown up politics. Not a petulant child spitting his dummy out.
It's very, very telling that you have nothing to say about the bombing of children posted on the previous page, but focus on internet pettiness instead. Israel has killed nearly 60,000 civilians, stated that it wants to put all Gazans into a concentration camp, and its leader is wanted for war crimes.

There is nothing petulant about wanting to see even mild opposition to this from our Prime Minister.

Name one western leader that would describe Israel as practicing genocide and will distance themselves from a strong ally.

It's a bit of husbandry,he is a relative youth to us though, there's just not enough natural disaster going around these days.
There is nothing 'mature' about refusing to condemn war crimes for what they are.

Israel is committing ethnic cleansing and war crimes
We continue to ally ourselves with them, providing arms, intelligence and diplomatic support.

So we're on the side of the ethnic cleansers, almost literally.
