Wouldn't be so smart when you don't know what league you'll be in tbf. You could end up leaving a big chunk of cash on the table if you agree sponsorships and kit deals at EFL prices then end up in the EPL.
Don

cant they just EFL badges on the new kit for one game ?

True. I stopped buying the new shirts a few years ago, it's tat

Besides, as a 49 year old fully grown human I've no no business wearing a brightly coloured, low quality polyester shirt out in public. It's for the kids, but each to their own.

There’ll be folk out there clutching their pearls that you don’t wear them on holiday.

Last summer I was looking at a Coventry City FB group & half of the posts were pictures of middle aged blokes wearing City tops on holiday.

Don't think i agree with this

Outright mugging fans off tbh. 'Limited edition pre season clobber' . Its template hummel gear no one else wanted clearly if we're fucking it off for our real training gear

Don't agree with it being sold, if we arent using it from next week then just dont release it
In all fairness to them, there was a pre season training kit last year too, that was different from the “in season” training kit. Was a white top with sky blue hummel arrow/stripe things

I never wore shirts all through the 80’s, preferring other more stylish atire but as long as they don’t rise above £60 am open to buy one for me and t’other half now . We find them like a protective shield when entering some of the less salubrious establishments in Cov City centre after matches 😄

It looks ok but I don’t think I am the target market, I will ask mini TGP what he thinks when he gets home from school

Lovely kit, shame we have no date we can actually buy it
What colour are the shorts?

Coventry City are delighted to reveal the first images of the 2025/26 home kit!

The shirt is a celebration of the iconic Coventry City crest, the badge that brings together so many people in a shared purpose and community.

The front of the shirt incorporates the treasured badge in an eclectic 90s pixel-stamp pattern, creating a design that is both subtle and exciting.

Accompanied by Sky Blue shorts and socks, the kit will create a distinctive look for players and fans alike.

The logo of our Principal Partner Monzo adorns the front of the shirt, while the Monzo Business logo will be displayed on the back.

The Club undertook this year’s kit photoshoot at the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust in Gaydon, marking 20 years since Jaguar’s famous Browns Lane plant in Coventry closed.

Many of Jaguar’s most loved and admired cars were built at its famed home in Coventry, and the Club is proud to recognise the contribution and history of another much loved brand of the City we represent.

The 25/26 home kit will be available for fans to purchase on Friday 25th July, with further details confirmed ahead of the big day.
