If we don’t sign anyone else and retain the squad we will be in a good place. My only slight concern is lack of options in the wings, Lampard likes to play with wingers and if we get any injury’s we’ve not really got any options. If Milan goes I hope we get another back up right back too rather than praying kkh is fit all year round.

Seem to be in the minority on this but the later we leave getting a keeper in the more likely we are to see more defensive gaffes from him being unfamiliar with his defence. Unless we actually plan to go with Wilson anyway in which case, gaffes ahoy

The fee we e reportedly paid for KKH isn't necessarily his worth. It's just what we managed to buy him for. Villa needed to sell and quickly.

I know a lot has been made about defensive errors last season and a lot of blame was put on the centre backs , unfairly in my opinion , but I thought it was in the full back areas we were really pulled about even MvE at times .
Hopefully the signing of Brau and KHH can remedy a lot of these problems

I assumed we’d have seen MVE out by now. The plan surely cannot be to have both of them.

I was surprised to see how many games KKH played on the left last season. I wouldn’t be surprised to see them both start the season, even if MVE is clearly on his way out the door.

Nice to have the replacement already in the building and up to speed anyway, and if he can slot in at a position of need for the time being then even better.

On my calculation we have one slot left in the 25 man squad. So some players need to leave and that depends on if there are any interested parties.

People are talking about the need for two or three more players and getting some loans. But if we loan a player, regardless of their age they count as part of your 25 man squad.

It did give me cause for concern when someone (can’t remember who) mentioned that none of the existing squad had been told they were surplus to requirements. We certainly needed to put some of their agents to work.

Le Fee was absolute gash for large parts because he was played out of position on the left hand side.

When he played centrally was 10x better.
