It's fan account slop. He isn't going anywhere unless someone goes mental with a 20m+ bid which won't happen off the back of 6-7 months form
It’s from Craig Hope’s latest Q&A. Hope is Tier 1 for Newcastle news, but he says the position is not a priority for them at the moment.

100%. Not even worth thinking about until Hope/Ornstein etc say they’ve approached his agent or the club.

I know the draw of the Prem is almost irresistible but I genuinely think here is the best place for him at this stage. It's the first time he's been in a team challenging up the top end of the championship. The fans love him and he's getting 1on1 tuition from his childhood idol. That seems a lot to gamble just now

Yeah, surely would have to be huge money for Rudoni.
What is huge for us is peanuts for them. But I would prefer to sell anyone before Rudoni unless it's a stupid offer and not just 20m. With the speed he is improving he has the chance of going all the way especially under the guidance of Lampard.

He's the one player that I'd simply refuse to sell right now. Although I understand if Newcastle firmed up an interest that's probably easier said than done.

Let's be honest though, if Newcastle come knocking and offer £25m (or whatever we decide is acceptable), he isn't turning it down.

Still not worried, he'll be here come the start of the season or we'll have 20m in the bank
I see him similar in value to Wharton who went I think for about £25 million but it has to be £20 million plus as a minimum, he would take some replacing though but 20 plus MVE money and Vik Money would be a huge pot for us to dip into , it needs to happen sooner rather than later so as it’s not all last minute

£25m is better but I would still want to keep him for another season at least. If we could raise any money we need from elsewhere we would be able to keep the player that could be the difference of promotion and just being an also ran.

The counter argument of course is keeping all of our key players season also improves our chances of having a strong season

Like Vik, he probably needs another season in the Championship. After that he'll be in the top flight one way or another.

Our sales pitch to young talent is we won’t stand in your way, sadly if Newcastle come knocking our only job is to get the best price and replacement.

Was superb for us last season and expect even more this, but if he does go, we're going to be in such a healthy position financially and it'll move us onto the next phase in long term future proofing the squad.

If we do need to sell, I would much prefer it was MVE too leave, he has been fantastic for us, but he just doesn't have the impact on games that Rudoni has and we already have the replacement signed.

“The club like Jack Rudoni at Coventry. There is a feeling the 24-year-old is the best player outside the Premier League - this is shared by many #NUFC scouts. He will be on the list of potential midfield options to replace Sean Longstaff.”

If he’s the best outside the premier league he’s going to cost £25m+

You’d take £25m. If you want to follow the Brentford/Brighton model that’s exactly what you do. Brentford did that time and time again which is why when they went up they had a proper squad as opposed to one or two stars.

Yeah but our recent transfer record doesn't suggest wel sell in the first year of the contract. Just have a feeling Doug and Frank will value his worth (to our chances next season & potential value if he continues as he has) way higher than anyone will offer

Also I fully understand that's the pitch to players like Wright or MVE. But would that be the case with Rudi? his stock wasn't that high when we signed him, we were probably about as good as he could have hoped for off the back of a couple of ok but unsuccessful years at Huddersfield.

I think the pitch to players is “Give us two full seasons” then if there’s offers that interest you we’ll listen to them.

I think thats the reason we sign players on 4 year deals, 2 for us, and the second 2 to keep our negotiating position strong if offers come in.

It’s also why I think if an offer comes for MVE he is going. I dont think KKH was signed to play alongside him.

Surely with Chelsea signing Joao Pedro players like Tyrique George and Marc Guiu are further and further away from getting pitch time?

Also Chelsea looking at Emi Martinez when they have 3 keepers on the bench tonight. I’d take Mike Penders on loan. Young and needs first team games and highly Regarded

FL is going to be a major influence on signings and development of the players. They will all seek his advice and look to him for career guidance. As for Jack i don't see him as any different, i get the impression more money or sitting on a bench doesn't interests him. If the alternative is playing every week for FL at a club with ambitions of getting to the top. As for Doug i dont see him pulling the rug under FL, i think he knows exactly what he brought in with FL and will not risk losing him.

Ive been told this morning that unless its frees or loans, no one else is coming in until we've offloaded some

Probably not groundbreaking info, but the issue is no ones attracted even a bid yet. Not even Milan

Interesting, makes most of the names being banded about redundant then.
Wonder if this changes when/if Vik's move to Arsenal is finalised.

Thats paid for KKH. Club knew vik was off so it allowed them to jump on early knowing it was coming back

Brau's wage has been covered by Tavares, Burroughs etc all being released

Its a case of needing some outs now if we pay a fee
