Good to get a couple of home friendlies. Should generate a nice bit of income for the club. Would be good to get around 20k at both.
need to get the pricing right for the midweek one. with another home game on the Saturday, and it being a rush from work for a lot of people for a 7pm kick off, if they go too high a lot of people will be tempted to give it a miss.

Agree, it looks like it will be one or the other unless they are smart with it. The matches are only a few days apart.

Maybe even a double match ticket option.

Gah, I don't get back from holiday until the 3rd! Although I will be in Germany that day - 2. Bundesliga season starts that day, so will try and out-hip the rest of you by watching something suitably obscure.

Agreed. Doesn't help it'll be a period where a lot of families will inevitably be away.

Like the idea of offering a double match package as edgy suggested.

I think last year vs Everton was £15 for an adult ticket. Two for £25 would represent good value.

Should really go to town with this one- German style beer bar and food outside - Bham German Market style ( without the eye watering prices ) - would easily pay for itself if we get a 15k or more crowd

St Pauli have been standing up for certain values before this term woke even existed. Tate and others can go fuck themselves .

Woke has been in use since at least the 1930‘s and it is not even a derogatory term. It is just in recent times certain people have hijacked the term and think they are being insulting by using it.

There are plenty of people like Musk, Trump, Farage, Anderson who definitely use it as an insult.

I'm not insulted by it. Same as those that use do-gooders - if you think someone doing good is a bad thing then the insults on you.

So, let's get back to the title thread.....

Are the squad now in Portugal continuing with pre season training and when do they return to Ryton?

Why would you be insulted by a word anyway?

No pictures from Portugal yet. It’s almost as if they have something, or someone, they don’t want to reveal yet…
