Come to think of it I think it's almost exactly 20 years since I saw them at Eastlands, they were good then.

Always think of Turn up the Sun when I think of it, think they came out to it. One of their best latter day efforts.

I saw them at Old Trafford in 2002 and they were decent then. Some of the later gigs were just embarrassing though - I tried to get tickets but now it’s come around I’m not that bothered at this point.

Wish everyone going to any of the shows the best of times.

Saw ‘em twice - at Edwards No 8 in Brum in 1994 and 2nd night at Knebworth. Was 18/20 years old and definitely caught up in the zeitgeist.

Haven’t listened to them in a looooonnnngg time - but saw Noel at Glastonbury a few years back before Macca and had a good time.

Unpopular opinion but WTSMG is better than Definitely Maybe.

Yeah, haven't sat down and listened to them in over a decade now and they did get me into bands like the Smiths who I liek far more now but yeah they were great to like as a teenager in the 90s/

I’m seeing a lot of Liam’s voice being criticised everywhere but I saw him solo after his first album and he was excellent. I believe that was the back end of a 60 odd gig tour.

I saw him at Old Trafford in 2018 and he was quality

But he wasn't hitting the gig dates anywhere near as hard as he is for this. And hes 7 years older than then. And he had a good few years hiatus after Beady Eye split up. Think his last solo gigs were about a year ago

I love the bloke, one of the greatest frontmen in history. Just feel hes biting off more than he can chew with so many dates coming thick and fast

I hope it's all worth it, but I think they're up to no good, just in it for the dollar, cynical I know but that's me these days, after all that's what everybody's after, Enjoy.

I dunno mate I think he looks after himself more these days, although it’d take a strong man not to get properly on it for old times sake on this tour 🤣

I saw them at the Old Wembley, new Wembley and MK Bowl.

Gutted I've not got tickets to tonight or any of the other dates. Hero's growing up and gave me swagger as short arsed Irish kid growing up threw my teenage years in the early/mid 90s.

Can't wait to see the footage on social media in a bit.

Earls Court ‘97 supported by the one and only Verve, which is why I think I have a case of FOMO for this one as it would have been a case of going proper full circle.

Wembley 2000 and then the Ricoh 2005 (or whenever it was) but Earls Court was by far and away the best gig by a mile!!

Tbf part of my reason for going is having never seen them live, probably wouldn’t be as arsed if I had. I was too young to see them at their peak, and funnily enough wasn’t bothered once they seemed past it.

Yet here I am paying £150 to see if Liam’s voice can hang on for a couple of weeks

I will say that I have listened to them fairly consistently down the years so it’s not “just because”

Hope it's better than that irl as that isn't as good as they were even in the latter days

I saw them at the Ricoh in 09 (?) and I thought that was pretty underwhelming. Hard to tell from an iffy stream from some chap who says 'yeah boy' every few seconds but it sounds pretty good to me. Fade Away too, not heard that for quite some time.

As FP said they were shite then.

I saw them on that tour (came back early from a stag do to do it) and they were terrible. Both support acts (Kasabian and the Enemy) were better. I wasn't bothered about the tour in light of that

Yeah from what I can remember, the Ricoh gig was pretty poor.
Think they were coasting a bit by then.

Still pretty gutted to be missing out this time round though

Unlike a fair few on here, it seems, I'm a MASSIVE fan boy, and I'm not ashamed to say it. Outside of my ibiza classics playlist, I haven't got a playlist on Spotify that doesn't have Oasis tracks in it. I've had RadioX Oasis on constant since it started a few weeks back. The only other band that comes close for me are Arctic Monkeys. They're almost in my playlist loop as much but not quite. Was only 9 when they played Knebworth in '94 so unfortunately missed that bandwagon. (However, i wouldn't be surprised if they cash in on that again after this tour)
Seen them on the SOTSOG tour at Wembley (2000ish? Maybe 2001?) When i was around 15 or 16. And again at the Ricoh in 2009, though i dont remember much of that as I was smashed, but I enjoyed it. Since then, I've seen Beady Eye twice, NGHFB twice, and LG solo 4 times. And I'm buzzing for this time next week at Heaton Park. Ive got my outfit ready already. Sad, i know, but that's me. We all have our preferences.

I disagree with WTSMG. However, even bigger unpopular opinion...... Dig Out Your Soul is in their top 3 albums with Definitely, Maybe and The Masterplan.

Your outfit?! What are you wearing?

Sounds like they've stuck entirely to the 90's bar one song which is the sensible thing to do IMO. No fucking around for a reunion like this, just play the songs from your best era that everyone wants to hear

Adidas/Oasis collab T-shirt, shorts, Adidas Gazelle’s and a bucket hat 😂
I was saying this yesterday…I don’t remember at the time people dressing up like this particularly? Virtually everyone seemed to be last night.
Though I never went to any of their gigs…and I might just not remember. It happens.
