They didnt sell all the FZ season tickets in Early Bird. They wont sell many more or any more now. Adult Tickets are now roughly double what they were last season in there.
I know of 3 families in this position.... 2 live in Warwick and another in Stratford surrounding area.....they've been up the City sporadically and they're really considering it.... I expect definitely 2 to be buying.

Do you think the additional £100 per adult will make them more or less likely to commit now?

They're all quite well off tbh, they'll also be concessions in there too for grandads. All regulars back in the 90s....2 of them moved away after or for Uni, had families, moved back in surrounding area in the last 5 years

I just can't see any reason why someone would be more likely to buy a ST now that they are £100 more than they were a few days ago. Unless you were waiting for payday or a windfall from somewhere. Especially in the FZ where it's clear the original uplift in Adult prices has put a few off from renewing or buying before the Early Bird deadline.

if no one does, we've still sold a record amount of season tickets and will be a few hundred short of the limit. All in, it just means the strategy worked. Prices and marketing have sold what we wanted to sell. Job done!

IIRC, in the past we've always extended the Early Bird deadline, often to take it past the next payday.

Some people may have been relying on this happening again?

So you can see a reason?

Had my Dot counting head on this morning.

Looks like remaining tickets are:

350 in hospitality (I don't know if hospitality tickets are part of the cap?)
150 in the family zone
390 in the rest of the stadium

just had a quick look, if you want to buy two seats together your only standard zone option is n18 2nd row.

other than that there are only single seats avaliable or seats together in the family zone & corporate.

phenomenal sales!!!

So what hasn’t sold?

Im assuming the block of seats where the cameras go, block 5 and that chunk down the front behind the goal in the south stand? That’ll all be match tickets I assume, was everywhere else available to buy?

Here's the scores on the doors:

Code:
⬆️ North 5,168 of 5,271 - 98% tickets sold or unavailable
➡️ East 9,370 of 9,487 - 99% tickets sold or unavailable
⬇️ South 2,496 of 2,496 - 100% tickets sold or unavailable
⬅️ West 2,174 of 2,193 - 99% tickets sold or unavailable
🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒 Family 3,039 of 3,179 - 96% tickets sold or unavailable
🥂 Premium 3,334 of 3,382 - 99% tickets sold or unavailable
---------------------------------
Total 25,581 of 26,008 - 98% tickets sold or unavailable

Of course, this is inflated because I think a bunch of seats or possibly specific sections / blocks are "unavailable" because they're not on sale for season tickets? This is already excluding these areas from the total:

Code:
🍻 Lounges - Balcony & Mahou 166 of 426 - 39% tickets sold or unavailable
🥪 Corporates 3,054 of 3,117 - 98% tickets sold or unavailable
❌ Unavailable 1,591 of 1,591 - 100% tickets sold or unavailable
😭 Away 2,625 of 2,625 - 100% tickets sold or unavailable

Blocks are set up like this:

Code:
North – N26, N27, N28, N29, N30
East – E13, E14, E15, E16, E17, E18, E22, E23, E24, E25
South – S10, S11, S12
West – W35, W1, W1B, W2, W2B, W3, W36, W37
Family – N31, N32, N33, N34
Premium – E19, E20, E21
Lounges - Balcony & Mahou - WU4, WU6, WU9
Corporates – DB, WA, WB, WC, WD, WE, WF, WU1, WU2, WU3, WU5, WU7, WU8, Dining Upgrades, Lounge Passes, Season Card Replacement
Unavailable – PB, S9, W4, W5
Away – S6, S7, S8

If you snooze you lose, they have had 12 months to prepare. Season tickets actually went on sale later than normal. With the cap and the rate they were selling at you would be very stupid to wait if you wanted a decent seat.

Can somebody tell me why we put such a low cap on season tickets?

If the demand is there for say 27,500 why don’t we allow it and then leave a smaller amount for general public sale so we are more guaranteeing and securing bums on seats.

I swear I read somewhere on here they cap it at like 24k

Because it's not a good move commercially, if you are confident of 2-3k regular non season ticket holders why would you reduce the effective price they pay by up to 50%
