Apparently died in December but only causing a storm in the media in the last day or so...

Ah, didn't realise. Now I'm wondering weather I should have posted about her now.

Whether the weather be fine
Or whether the weather be not
Whether the weather be cold
Or whether the weather be hot
We'll weather the weather
Whatever the weather
Whether we like it or not

Never being an avid watcher of breakfast telly, i remember her mostly from partnering Kenneth Kendall in the operations room on Treasure Hunt with Anneka Nice-Bottom.

Diego Jota. Killed in car crash in Spain. Only 28 and got married a couple of weeks ago. So sad.

In my experience driving on Spanish roads, they feel safer than UK ones albeit much less busy.

The Guardia Civil has release a statement to say the car's tyre blew whilst overtaking another car, it left the road and burst into flames.
Good god.
Hope they were killed as a result of the collision, as it were rather than being burned to death.
Shocking either way.

Mark Snow, composer, died at home age 78. I guess if you're a composer, or anyone really, you hope to leave something behind that everyone remembers and he certainly did that with the X-Files theme. So iconic it was even released as a single and charted.
Thank you for mentioning he did the X-Files. I knew I knew his name from somewhere - my sister had an x-files album that he did.

At first I was thinking "This wasn't Informer guy was it?"

Julian McMahon, 56, fucking cancer. If you don’t know the name you would likely recognise him, been in everything from Homr & Away to Dr Doom in the Fantastic Four movies.

Luis Jardim has died, which is a shame. Ace session percussionist throughout the 80s and 90s. Played on everything! We'll all have records or CDs with Luis on.

Beginning with ABC's debut studio album The Lexicon of Love in 1981/1982, Jardim worked extensively on projects with Trevor Horn, including with Seal[3] and on Grace Jones' Slave to the Rhythm

Jardim worked prolifically as a session musician in London during the 1980s and 90s - mostly playing percussion, bass, drums and occasionally keyboards.
He worked with Prefab Sprout, Madness (on Keep Moving and Mad Not Mad), Asia (on Astra and Arena and Aura), Claire Martin (Take My Heart), Yes, Sir Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones,[4] They Might Be Giants, Mike Batt, David Bowie, Cher, Grace Jones, Björk,[5] Mezzoforte, Bee Gees,[6] Duran Duran, Robbie Williams, Elvis Costello,[7] Gareth Gates, Tom Jones, Alejandro Sanz, Nina Hagen, João Pedro Pais, Eros Ramazzotti, Diana Ross, Rod Stewart, Johnny Hallyday, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Sir Elton John, George Michael, Cyndi Lauper, Gloria Estefan, Katie Melua, Modern Romance, Jeff Beck, Fish, Tina Turner, Roddy Frame, Billy Idol, Coldplay, David Gilmour,[8] Tears for Fears, the The, Steve Hogarth. and Marillion.
