Is that it ? Some deep inference there Sparkes to attempt a tenuous defence of your argument. Now find some proper evidence.
I'd say the fact you instantly assumed that I 1) had no money and 2) hadn't worked hard is also proof.

He was referencing your childish use of an emoji to a comment that wasn't even aimed at you

Yes Grendel I'm sure you have never used the laughing or poo emoji towards a comment aimed towards you.

Really ?
more like jealousy and envy if you cant have it then neither should I you mean. Wait until you are all over 60 is all I will say because thats guaranteed

It’s a fact that pensioners are one of the wealthiest demographics and that child poverty is higher than pensioner poverty. Those aren’t feelings, that’s just the data. If you want to discount a demographic then kids makes more sense than pensioners though not sure why it’s a zero sum game.

Oh yeah the good old left wing jealousy politics that the elderly are wealthy
It's not jealousy when it's true 🤣

Look at living costs relative to wages now compared to 20 years ago.

I just think they shouldn't have discount till retirement age nothing wrong with that.

When you get to buy a house that's 3 times your annual wage compared to 10 times now your obviously going to be in a better position.

Again I'll add I have no issue with discount for people at retirement age living off a pension that's fine.

People in their early 60s still working really don't need it.

Have you considered people in their early 60's still working on low incomes in your analysis ?

Nothing to be jealous about if you are using yourself as a fine example of the younger generation
Going back to an old post, after the conversation has died down to make a personal attack. No wonder you come across as a little jealous.

Only following your fine lead. Yet again your comment is an inference made by yourself with no factual basis

No one working in their early 60’s is on a low wage?

Would that not apply to anyone of working age on a low income? Not sure the ticket office is going to be able to cope with a sliding scale of ticket prices and having to means test everyone!

I highlighted this because the original comment made by this poster was aimed purely at those over 60 but under retirement age.

Check my comment history, I am not normally a histrionics or reactionary type of poster. The title of the thread was on the proviso that he was indeed abandoning consession pricing for 16yos, which in my view would have been a shambles.

It would have been a “shambles” if he had tripled the price of a standard ticket, he didn’t - and no one took the time to write several paragraphs about how angry they were at an entirely hypothetical situation/nonsense.

The general get out of jail clause on here over the last year or so has been “I’m only repeating what someone told me”.
