They paid paradise to put up a parking lot (love that song

Have they got them in France?Drive thru perfect when you have kids and on a long journey. 5 minutes stop instead of 30 minutes and 10 minutes of peace.
Or paved. Whichever one you want to use. They paid paradise to put up a parking lot (love that song)
Brilliant - makes sense now (although Google came up with both!) I follow in my father's footsteps of inserting incorrect words into songs!Or paved. Whichever one you want to use.
This could be the start of another beautiful off topic thread....Brilliant - makes sense now (although Google came up with both!) I follow in my father's footsteps of inserting incorrect words into songs!
Paved surely. They paid paradise to put up a parking lot (love that song)
And also they're getting rid of a parking lot to build unitsTarmacked surely, paving slabs would soon break up with heavy traffic!!
Try allergy companions when looking for places to eat Allergy Friendly Restaurants | Find & Review Venues | Allergy CompanionsWe have to take food with us everywhere (my youngest is coeliac too). The options in and around the stadium are shite.
Further afield Playwrights is brilliant (we go there sometimes) and Golden Cross in town is really good.
First time I tried it a few years ago I liked it a lot, but we visited the one in Cathedral Lanes the other week and it was rubbish. Place itself felt bare and shabby as well, just a pickup point for Deliveroo now. Not bothering again5 guy burgers are overated
Chips are really nice but so fattening you feel sick after
I hate drive through restaurants, a ridiculous import from America. Why the fuck do people use a drive through and then sit in their car in the car park eating it. There are tables and chairs inside you know.
They certainly have. They have them all over Europe. The quality of the food is much better than in the UK. But that's the same for most places. Cheaper in the UK for a reason. Quantity and price over quality. Same as the USA.Have they got them in France?

I wouldn’t say the cost of food in the UK is cheap. I’d say it’s more expensive. They certainly have. They have them all over Europe. The quality of the food is much better than in the UK. Not sure really why anyone would want to use these unhealthy obesity inducing American shitholes. Just get a bit of toast or a bacon sarnie at home.Because who the f*ck actually wants to sit in fast food place? Sticky tables, screaming kids and the manbag wearing, scooter riding dregs.
I want to sit in a nice pub/restaurant, fast food places are for when I'm lazy or hungover. Pick it up, drive home.
Got to keep the economy going.🫣Not sure really why anyone would want to use these unhealthy obesity inducing American shitholes. Just get a bit of toast or a bacon sarnie at home.
Yep Tariff the shit out of the American drossGot to keep the economy going.🫣
Regularly seems to be units sat empty for long periods of time. Makes it seem slightly odd to be building additional units. Not sure opening a Five Guys next to a Burger King and a Popeyes Chicken next to a Bucks Chicken is the best planning tbh.
If they couldn't make the one in town work when it was surrounded by student accommodation not sure they'll make a go of one on the retail park. Isn't there a new gym opening at the ground as well?Pure Gym moving in next door![]()
Plans submitted to transform Coventry building - and it might be open 24 hours
PureGym have pinpointed a new venue at a well known locationwww.coventrytelegraph.net
That's just about the going rate for one off the outside kiosks isn't it.Five Guys is actually pretty cheap if you just get a normal burger, instead of the double burger. For some reason the standard burger is called a "Little Burger" making it sound like it's for kids. I think it's about £6. As poster said above though, quality not great.
There used to be one at the ground but that got shut because of lack of use. Havnt heard about them opening a new oneIf they couldn't make the one in town work when it was surrounded by student accommodation not sure they'll make a go of one on the retail park. How are buses & deliveries going to get round the back if they're closing that road off?
Tbf I always wondered why they felt like 2 would work in what is a notoriously small city centre. It can't be more than 10 minute walk from Bishop Street to the Sky Dome, even students can manage that!If they couldn't make the one in town work when it was surrounded by student accommodation not sure they'll make a go of one on the retail park.
