Given where you live now Peak Bean would probably deliver to you, it'll be cheaper than hipster Alti prices and he roasts it to order
Not heard of them where are they based?.... I often stop off at Kickback coffee near Pott Shrigley if I'm passing but cali coffee is definitely a favourite of mine.

Got one of these, Lovely bit of kit for making me and the Mrs a coffee in the morning.
Took a while to get used to.... key is to read the instructions... I'd been tamping it down when it needed to be left a bit loose.
As for beans I go to TK Maxx they sell massive bags of beans for £10-15 which is decent enough for day to day use. If I'm feeling a bit flash I'll get some from California coffee & wine in Altrincham, The guy roasts it himself every morning a bit pricey though.

Yeah never press the coffee down, just pile it to create a mound. I have a moka mini express, but stopped using it when I installed an induction hob. Can't be bothered with those steel plate converters.

Drive past that place at least a few times a week, should pop in some time.

One of our clients is also coffee obsessed and gave me quite a few of her favourite roasters 👀 but they’re on my work phone so I’ll dig them out and stick them in here when I’m back at home.

‘Funky range of beans’
One Hundred House
Skylark Coffee

EU based so a bit more expensive but worth it:
