Do you understand the Jimmy in a box song they sing and the reasons behind it? If you do perhaps you would understand my point. If not I see no reason to explain it as you may be happier to see them up.

I know some of the reasons a deluded portion of their fanbase sing a distasteful song about a legend. The fact it happened in 1977 and no one mentioned it until 2010 is what makes me laugh.

Either way, Jimmy Hill would love the fact that he's still getting on their tits from beyond the grave. He would honestly consider that to be the ultimate compliment

Whats done is done, no point being classless tramps about it. We smashed them 3-0 a few weeks back and were the better team in both legs of the playoffs ( As confirmed to me by two Mackems I know ) but its football and we didn’t do enough to put those ties to bed. We move on and build for the future once more.

I'm not arsed they have gone up. Some fake rivalry that popped up about 5 years ago from a minority of their fans over an incident nearly 50 years ago. Inaccurately reported/made up myth about what happened.
