Make Cov great again. High time for the darkest blue stripes possible
Camouflage strip, well it worked against Shay Given. 🤭

Are there any other clubs that switch between plain and striped kits? I can’t imagine Newcastle, Inter or even Notts county doing this. Or Liverpool or Leeds opting for stripes.
Bayern Munich do regularly. Dortmund have also. Hull used to switch up styles. Villa had a few stripey efforts and Southampton have had some plain shirts.

And if I'm gonna be a pedant and include pinstripes Liverpool use those. Notts County had a basically plain shirt in 2012.

Inter are famous for messing with their kits. Might as well have fun with it who wants the same shirt every season like Arsenal.

It frustrates me as well. We should be all sky blue every season. BUT in fairness originally before JH we were stripes so stripes is part of our history so I can see why we alternate. I quite liked the kit last season (2023/24) sky blue on back and sky blue shorts and thick sky blue stripes on front and the white stripes had a faint Sky Blue tinge. In some ways that strip was a combination of our historical kits.
Away kit for me should always be green and black stripes . If we have third kits then be creative there and do whatever

In fairness, Notts County's kit this year is an abomination and can only just be described as stripes. It's certainly not black & white though.

Liverpool had a striped home shirt last season!

I quite like having the variety tbh. Although we’ve had some true howlers of course.

Barcelona as well. Think in the last 10 years they've had stripes, hoops, checkers and half/half for their home shirts

Literally the worst home kit we’ve ever had - not even sky blue ffs! - and an absolutely dire team wearing it for good measure.
I actually thought that one was all right. Can't disagree about the players in it though... The red-and-black away kit was wicked!

Nothing's ever touching that for worst of all time, the new kit could have a magic eye image of Craig Bellamy having a shit and it'd still only be a distant second

The Nike(?) white jersey with half assed fading Sky blue stripes only on half the front really was a howler for me

Tesco carrier bag kit.

Says it all and we were relegated to Div 2 in it. Fuck the Checkatrade win bollox it was a shit kit.
