So, we offload the deadwood, get rid of the shit taking up squad numbers and wages. Look at the free transfer market. Bring in Jamie Vardy, and before you all stop reading, hear me out...... we bring in Jamie Vardy, and he scores the 93rd minute winner at Wembley in the play-off final against Leicester

He's on about 150k a week at Leicester and is moving to the Saudi league for around the same wages .

Just guessing but I reckon we can't compete with those numbers

Agree to all of that apart from Vardy. One, it’s Vardy, two, he’s a Leicester legend and three, he’s old.

Old he may be, but I can guarantee he'd of put in more of a shift last night than Wright did. And what Simms has all season.

He's already stated he's not going to another championship club. Close thread.

Why is he moving to Saudi?

He can't need the money surely.

The combined wages of Simms, Sheaf and Wright still wouldn’t pay what Vardy would want, plus he’s a c**t.

We’ll have to release Luis Binks and free up the £250k/wk he’s on.

I would imagine Norwich feel that they will be in a similar boat to us next season, ie playoff contention..... so i'd be surprised if we had the remotest chance of signing him.

He’s a good player that would thrive with good players. Look at Rudoni’s stats last year for Huddersfield.

The same team (more or less) were in the Prem the season before. Morris would be a good player for another club, just not us.

We could perhaps use the example of Keiffer Moore? Played as a bit part player for Sheff U and had a worse non-penalty MPG worse than Simms.
