we'll be lucky to get £5m for Wright.

He’s averaged a goal every other game for two seasons, like fuck would we!

Be annoyed if we sold him for any less than 10 tbh, with the way transfer fees are i think that could climb higher too. I say that as someone who is raging at his run of form/disinterest, but his goals record does somewhat speak for itself.

I wouldn’t say major overhaul

the core of the team is there
I'd say in an ideal situation we'd move 10 players on.
Is that a major overhaul? Possibly, but some will probably want to go to get first team football,
like, Binks, Bidwell, Eccles, Collins, Allen, Raphael.

Some we need to improve on, like, Simms, Wright, BTA, JDS, Wilson.

That's 10 players, most are decent at Championship level, but won't get you out of the Championship, and certainly won't be good enough for the Premier League.

Because when he’s not scoring goals he’s the most frustrating player ever to pull on the shirt.
hes a good player tho....stats don't lie ;)

we'd only try and sign another player wiht the same stats. Something was working to allow him to score so many last season, isnt it more of a question of service?

Lampard at least has players he trusts in midfield, which can’t be said at ST. So beyond the obvious holes at LB and GK, you’d imagine strikers would be the priority.

I think it’s how he’s used in this system, Lampard appears to me to want out and out wingers who cut back to allow overlapping fullbacks or put a cross on. Also the ST I he think he wants is an out and out target forward, someone who holds the ball up, brings others into space and attacks space in the air to allow Rudoni and Torp in. Sadly don’t think Wright thrives in either of these roles

For me the squad doesn't need a lot of work, and I can see Lampard wanting a couple of loanees

GK: Dovin , new signing, Wilson
Lb : Brau, DaSilva , release Bidwell
Rb : Milan , new signing
Cbs: Kitching , Thomas , new signing , lose Binks keep Lati
Cm : lose Sheaf and Allen . Grimes , Eccles , Torp and Rudoni with a new cm and a loanee
Rw : Sakamoto , new signing
Lw : EMC , keep Paterson/new signing
Cf: keep BTA and Simms get a new signing and a loanee
Would loan out Bassette , Obikwu, Rodrigues and Dausch and release the others

So maybe 6-8 new signings or / and a couple of decent loanees

bidwell only signed an extension in january, he wont be released.
Id keep Allen - sell sheaf
keeping pato would require another contract for him.

You’d keep BTA and Simms?

I’d sell them both

I hope we bring in an energetic midfielder who wants to play further forward that Sheaf does and another winger with pace.

If we go for the attacking equivalents of Grimes it bodes well

do we assume they'll be a mass exodus from luton?
I think it’s fair to assume with the wages some of them will be on. Aasgard in particular has been told he needs to be in a higher league if he wants to continue to be a international and apparently has a release clause

You missed Wright out. Assuming he stays one of BTA and Simms will probably go.

Would anybody else be looking to move Torp on? Clearly talented but can't keep himself fit and ends up missing half the season due to that.
