It makes sense to me... The players are less pissed for the 12.30 & 3pm kick offs.Looking at our results across the season. Is there any logical reason we have lost the majority of our games in evening matches, both home and away?
Tuesday is a one off game but if you have a look through there is a pattern!
Unless he had 3 wheels then he'd be a tricycleif frank had wheels, he would have been a bicycle.
no pattern, its just football.
Was Notts County not a Friday night? I can't bloody remember it was that long agoOur away record in the playoffs is good. The second legs (that we’ve won) have all been midweek iirc?

In the 22/23 season our away from in the second half of that season was top drawer - the last game we lost away was in February! Our away record in the playoffs is good. The second legs (that we’ve won) have all been midweek iirc?
Boro away was midweek from memory. Both Notts County and Boro were Friday nights!
Some of the defeatism on here is a little bit much to be honest. If I was a gambling man crunching numbers, you’d back Sunderland to get over the line but this KO football over 2 legs and weird things happen.

We were in a groove with the perfect counter attacking players.
We've been shite away this season - and based on Friday, have you seen anything that makes you think we can either score two, or keep a clean sheet!?
Regardless, we have 100% record of getting to play off finals by winning the away leg.
