Took 9 years for Luton to go up from Non-league to the Premier League. Now in 2 years they’re halfway back the other way. Lol.

I wouldn't say Luton were showing triumphalism because they were beating us, they were just desperate for 3 points in their attempt to avoid the drop. And maybe their passion was misinterpreted.
After 50+ years of supporting Coventry City I have no issue with Luton Town FC. They arnt Villa or Incester or Scumderland or either of the Sheffield teams, who really are wankers.

If anything, Luton have been through the same kind of shit that we've been through over recent years.
Yes they beat us on pens in the play off final, and we were all gutted, but that's football, it's not personal, and I wish them well for next season.

I don’t think the Luton head coach was showing triumphalism, I think it was nastier than that.
The fact is they could have invested in a couple of better players which may have made reliance on black arts (aka cheating) less of a necessity. Instead they are supposedly investing in a new stadium. Be interesting to see that attendances after a couple more relegations.
As supporters we often seem to wish our own players were better versed in the black arts. How happy would we really be if we achieved success in such an ugly away.

I was mildly annoyed at some individual on CWR referring again to our massive rivalry with Sunderland. Really mate …..It’s a manufactured load of nonsense that’s been exaggerated and hyped by a handful of ill informed individuals who have been misled about real historical events.

It’s not really our rivalry is it? It’s all confected by a minority of their supporters to justify why their teams performance over the last 50 years hasn’t matched the expectations arising from a misplaced sense of entitlement. For avoidance of doubt, I,m agreeing with you
