Def something gone wrong with our academy, wev‘e let Some good players go, hope they get a chance under Lampard Agree with that, if you dont see Andrews involved next season then prob not in the plans

Lampard hasn’t attended even 1 u23 fixture and forces the u23 staff to liaise with his coaches and not Frank directly. He doesn’t see his future here

Nothing wrong with the Academy.
We are where we are in the pecking order as a Cat 2 Academy.
Remember, we are a top end Championship club now not a L1/2 side with no budget.
Our very good academy players will be snapped up by those higher up the pecking order and our good academy players probably aren't good enough to trouble the ever more competitive first team.
surely thats One of the reasons lampards here to develop our youth players and improve the academy, no point having one if your going to give them away or not give them a route to the first team, Eccles aside we haven’t developed anyone fully,Marlow Barrett would of prob made our first team eventually then prob sold on, now he’ll go missing in Man City’s academy ?

Just over 24 hours to go.....are the footballing gods going to look down on us favourably?

Is it our time?
I just have this horrible feeling and I can't shake it.

I think we are going to end the day with the season over and huge disappointment.

C'mon City, prove me wrong. 🤞🙏

Still think tomorrow might be a draw. Got a feeling that Bristol will fuck up against Preston so it won't matter. Blackburn to shithouse the last remaining place by beating Sheffield United.

I'm glad at least it is an early kick off so we don't have to wait longer to find out our fate. I can barely concentrate on anything else now as it is.
If our game is a draw with 5 minutes to go, game may become an absolutely crazy game with both teams going for a win.

I'm a long way away so won't see it.

People forget end of season games that teams can produce amazing results if they are fully motivated.

Only safe thing for us is to win but that will be very tough. Let's hope we get the luck after the heartbreaks of last two seasons.

ok 👍 milwall aren’t winning at Burnley 100% and sheff Utd aren’t just turning up v Blackburn best I can see there is a point, not bothered about the Bristol city game, if they draw or even lose then bonus, we could still get 5th, Mboro are poor away from home like us, and on top of that they’ve never won here, they had their chance last week at home to Norwich who had nothing to play for, and blew it even their fans don’t give them a chance tomorrow, it’ll be a nervy start but we’ll be fine, worst Case a draw still gets us in but it won’t come down to that, how’s that 👍 plus sounds like they’re a mess, night before the biggest game of their season and all they’re talking about is that carrick knows he’s gone no matter what happens, never known a team around the play offs so negative and that’s from the fans who’ve watched them all season, can see this being like the Sunderland game, frank will get them right up for it and so will 29000 of us, 😉

We're just too good for Middlesbrough at home. Certainly going to be a party atmosphere. All I ask for is an early goal to settle our nerves and go on from there.

I agree on Millwall. I just cannot see them beating Burnley at all.

I also don't see Blackburn picking up more than a point at Sheff Utd.

It's us I am worried about and our losing our game. That, I CAN see happening.

I worry about Bidwell, because he has just looked so sluggish of late and I worry about Binks and Lati and Collins

Sure a few thought the same about west brom and Sunderland,,don’t think We realise how hard it is to come here for the away team, you don’t see it as a cov fan, it’s some atmosphere and gets a little bit more out of every player, remember Mboro Have to win, that’ll make an open game, perfect for us, keep the faith Otis we’ll be fine, wouldn’t be us to do things the easy way 👍

We don't need to worry about what might happen if we don't win. We will win. Their style of play suits us. We've won every game at home this year except for Leeds and Burnley. And against Burnley we nearly became the only side all season to score twice against them.

I know there's no such thing as a certainty in football. But everything is in our favour. And if somehow we only get a draw today two out of 3 other results have to go against us.

Millwall at Burnley have to stop them from going 33 games unbeaten.

Bristol City need a point against Preston who are playing for their Championship survival.

Blackburn need a result away to Sheffield United. Sheffield United wouldn't want to go into the playoffs with a result against them at home with the team they would then have to play over 2 legs.

Forget Millwall because it won't happen. We should win but the odds are a draw would be enough.

Spot on, wer‘e in a great position, guarantee Mboro, milwall and Blackburn would swap with us, final day and it’s in our hands, imagine in November if someone said we’ll be in 6th going into the last game, and you could pick a team to play at home, I bet a few would pick Mboro,

They will be crapping themselves knowing just one mistake finishes their season. Or place your mind to where we play a bogey team. We're theirs 😂😂😂 Don't think they've ever won at the CBS arena. Two seasons ago was fun 😁

I can't believe that such a big game today and I'm so calm. Just like last time we met them last game of the season.

I've gone against us the last couple of games. This time I'm 100% for the win. Taking off the Sky Blues specs it was so predictable. Just like today's game is.

Time to send the Geordie lot home with their tails between their legs again 😁

Yeah, I get it and I would agree

As I've said before. If MVE and Thomas were back, I would feel a lot more reassured.

If it's the back four I've mentioned above and Bidwell continues in the same vein as the last couple of matches, then I see goals for the opposition, because it looks very, very weak.

Hope FL's team, when it is announced, has some pleasant surprises in it. 🤞

He has rested a couple knowing that today is the day whatever happened before. Wise move going into the playoffs.

I was in New Zealand trying to avoid the score
Right, today's the day.
Brad, let the spirit of Dino Zoff enter your sullen, crestfallen body and give us the performance of the season.

Ellis, let the essence of Ian Rush permeate you and press, harass and finish like the Welsh wonder in his pomp, come on city!!
& so say all of us. Even his inner Bobby Gould or Dave Speedie. They both took no prisoners.
