Good luck with the interview, way more important for you, keep the ticket and speed up to the ground for the second half or last 15 minutes, you won’t want to miss that when we’re winning, the celebrations will add to the day.
No way, match is way more important. More jobs will come about, maybe Mcdonalds, Greggs, Sports Direct

So, long story short. I got contacted yesterday to be told I've a job interview at Halfords at 1pm on Saturday. Don't get me wrong, I really really want the job, i also don't want to miss the football.
I have a season ticket, but don't want to put it on the exchange incase my dad ends up having a lunatic sat next to him.
Do I go for my dream job, or blank it and go the match?
These dreams you are having, do they involve bicycles?

Go to the interview and get to the CBS for the second half

Blimey how long do these interviews last these days, interview at 1pm, kick off 3pm.

Unless his interview is in London.

Ask them to bring it forward a couple of hours , you must have told them your interests on the application form .
A dream job at Halfords , you must tell after Saturday .
Yeah they'd be mightily impressed asking for an earlier slot, are you the only applicant, I doubt it?

Your life, family and friends are more important than a job.

Job interviews and recruitment overall is a complete lottery and I don't mean how you do in it. Most of the time decisions are made regardless on how an interview goes and is beyond you control/

Obviously try an rearrange. Interviews are totally a two way street so if a client isn't flexible that's a warning red flag sign for the future.

Different if you have no income coming in and are desperate but there will likely be other opportunities/

Go for the job mate! Can you imagine how you would feel if you chose football and Collins has another brain fart and we lost! Football will always be there👍

You could contact Alan Sugar for he's advice. He's a football man as well 😂

Go for the job if you get back in time for the second half happy days just ensure you have the playoff dates as ‘pre booked holiday’ just in case. Good luck ops I mean brake a leg!

F@@k Halfords Pete. Think you’re just pedalling this one. Get along to Evan’s Cycles and have a word with my mate Big Mike. He’ll keep the gates locked at the CBS Arena until you arrive.

Your boss clearly isnt a City fan so fek him and tell him to shove his job up his arse, but dont call him to say that until after 1pm so you've wasted his time and phone him from the Cherry Tree.

I rang the store and spoke to the manager about changing the time of the interview, he asked my reasoning and I said its because I've agree to dog sit my sisters 3 German Shepherds. He seemed to understand and told me he'd call me back.
Now here is the interesting part. He agreed for me to have an interview over Zoom at the same time as previously agreed.
I'm in a bit of a predicament now, do I go to the match and sneak out to somewhere quiet at 1pm, how do I make myself look at home, does anyone have a green screen?
Or do I just do it from home, but then I still need the dogs in the background??
Getting stressed and starting to scratch.

Simple, take a picture of where you would sit, photoshop 3 German shepherds into it, print it off across about 20 A4 sheets and ask people around you in the stand to hold them up so it looks like you're at home in the background. For the noise just pretend there's builders outside making loads of news.

If they ask about the dogs, say they are well-trained and you told them not to move.

It's not surprising the dog's are feeling a scratch come on.

Failing that borrow some off the police.

Bring the dogs to the game and conduct the interview from your seat. Pretend to be blind to facilitate getting the dogs into the ground if neccessary.
Just remember to remove your dark glasses and put down your white stick before the interview begins

Sorry to sound like a bore and “Mr sensible” over here but some things are more important, like football. Get to the game son.

Singers corner 10 minutes into the match should be quiet enough for you to do your interview there mate
