Scabby blue wankers , can but hope it all goes tits up for them
I've had a lot less against them since they gave us somewhere to play a few years ago. I always felt accepted by their supporters. We even became League 1 champions at their place.

Things might have happened since with some of their knuckle draggers, but all clubs have them. Yet another club that has suffered bad owners.

Such a myth this is, it is my opinion the mask slipped and they got really funny with us when we started winning a few games there - Their on the pitch struggles were also levelled at us for 'cutting up their pitch' which was an absurd suggestion, they were just shite! Go and wear a CCFC top round Digbeth and see what sort of reception you get

That being said, with my purely footballing head I think they will do alright next season, they are probably better than some of the shite down the bottom, Cardiff, PNE, Derby etc. already and are only gonna add to it - The owner knows what he is doing, yeah he made some lunatic decisions that got them relegated but he has more than rectified it this season and will want to push on, which is a shame cause they are insufferable enough already

I kind of get it for Wrexham, popular owners, an impressive charge through the leagues and a decent TV show. But what on earth is the draw for Birmingham? I don’t get that at all

has he rectified them? is charging 11.9% interest on the money you invest rectifying things? they spent cash but it was all cash he is charging them 11.9% interest on

It's a hedge fund isn't it? Wagner is just the face of it, it's not his personal wealth he's putting in so they are going to want a return on their investment at some point.

Myth? I don't know anyone who had a problem with them. I certainly didn't.

Wear a Cov top around Digbeth? What's that got to do with when we played in Birmingham? I suppose Birmingham City tops would be made welcome everywhere in Coventry because we don't have anyone who would try anything.

Don't get me wrong I have a feeling that one way of achieving said return is by trying to cheat to the Prem in the short term so they could be a problem if they try that. If it fails though they'll be in shit and I don't see that self loving weirdo and his hedge fund buds sticking around for that.
The stadium is also pie in the sky, something will conveniently block it and they'll build flats on the land which I'm assuming was the plan all along.

Birmingham will need a quick promotion otherwise their interest payments will soon be higher than their income. Their spend just to be an average Championship side will go up. It won't be long before the FFP rules come into force for them.

And as we know promotion to the Prem isn't easy. They spent a lot of money pre season. They haven't got a top Championship squad or even team. There's a good chance their wage bill will spiral out of control. It will be very difficult next season if Sheffield United fail in the playoffs.

The stadium will not happen unless the infrastructure around the site is improved, believe it entails a massive improvement to Bordesley train station (Which is effectively a dormant train station with one service a day) as well as extending the tram network through Digbeth and up to where the site is

They ain't getting that money from cash-strapped Birmingham City council so they are applying for central government funding or they will have to pay for it out their own pocket

Be fuming if the government puts a penny towards a yank vanity project.
