FFS, we're looking for a GK not a midfield general.
I've heard David Copperfield is appalling at hanging wallpaper and fixing a pina colada so you may want to avoid one of his magic shows.
Well when you play from out the back, being good with the ball at your feet is a pretty big deal you spanner

A good organiser and communicator who commands the box and takes crosses. Decent at shot stopping and distribution.

Even Dovin doesn’t give the confidence that he will deal with crosses and catch the ball under pressure.

Dovin is a young keeper learning his trade with experience and games he will get better. I'd rather have him than the keepers at Stoke and Derby who Sky pundits are always praising.

Which is fine and I do recognise that Dovin will develop and improve, though possibly some of that will be at his next club.

I’m mainly referring to an interim keeper from the start of next season.

Not this season he's not. Average at coming off his line and a poor shot stopper. 1745970622153.jpeg
