I think we'll be lucky to get the 64 we got last season.

Though would love Wembley three years on the trot.

Obviously 2 wins in our next two games will show I'm not much of a Nostrademus!

Another 11, 3 wins 2 draws and a loss. Especially if the loss isn’t against WBA or Boro

70 points should do it, so 11 more points. With 69 points I suspect we might lose out on goal difference.

I think this will be the table going into the final day.

I think both West Brom and Bristol will win on the final day, so we'll have to beat Boro.

I think we'll beat Portsmouth and Plymouth, draw against West Brom and Hull, and lose to Luton.

70 points should be ok but the 2 6 pointers are important

5 points from the next 3 games
3 from the following 2
Beat Boro

will be enough

if we assume boro dont beat leeds - they would need to get 9/10 points from the 4 before they play us to get 70
if WBA dont beat Bristol or us , they would need 4 wins from the other 4 to get to 70
if Bristol dont beat WBA or leeds they would need 8-10points from 4 games to get to 70

so I think only 1 of WBA and Bristol will get there at most, and dont see Boro getting the 9/10 points from 4 games

I think leeds have blown it again! Portsmouth game is key to the rest of our season

One point more than the team in 7th place, that usually does it.

Probably is key. May not be a better team to play at home right now though. They have the second worst away record in the league overall, 1 point ahead of Plymouth, and they have the worst away form in the league of the last 10 - winning 1 and losing 9. Of course, probably all points to a home loss, but if we can galvanise ourselves after Saturday, and are up for it, I think we should be able to pick up 3 points here. Just keep playing as we have been at home.

Bristol will get more than 65 pts. They've lost at home once in 10 games and still have 3 home games left.

I thought when we had 8 games to go we needed 4 wins (or equivalent) from them.
so I reckon 12 points (71) will get us in.
Puts the pressure on the so-called winnable games. Have to beat pompey, and by a couple of clear goals.

Exactly the sort of team with the poor form, we fuck up against.

It’s all if’s, buts, and maybe’s but my quick, back of fag packet calculations:

Brizzle finishing the season on 68,
WBA on 67
With us on 68 and Boro on 69 going into our final game showdown, which we win to qualify in 5th, and Boro get 6th.

All 3 of us have fairly similar run-ins in terms of league positions of the sides we each to play.

We beat Sunderland, Leeds beat Boro - we win PO final on pens, 6-5

Most important thing is to win tomorrow….

Use your noggin. 3 of those were against teams in the top 4.

And teams lower than us have taken points of them over the season. The top three really aren't invincible.

If Bristol beat both WBA and Sunderland at home as well as Luton, QPR and Leeds away, fair play to them. WBA have not won in 4 games so we could be playing them at a great time. If we beat WBA, I’ll be surprised if we don’t go the finish in the Top 6.

We played reasonably well over the last 3 games and considering Leeds, Sheff U and Burnley and just miles ahead of the rest.

Side note: results going our way tonight at the moment. Hopefully it stays the same! 👌🏻

Some have, the majority haven’t. That’s why they’re at the top of the league 🤣
One was against a team in the bottom 3.
Right, so you agree the majority of those games were against high quality opponents we wouldn’t expect to regularly beat.
