Come on, looks like Lampard got it spot on. A few raised eyebrows including from me
Jamie Allen has been inspiring so far! Really fighting for every ball. He doesn't have enough good games, but when he does he's usually the best player on the pitch (thinking back to Sunderland at home at St.Andrews L1 promotion season). Just a shame he can't do it consistently week in week out

i can’t believe i’m saying this but we really need a third goal before i can relax

I feel the same, as it will get nervy if they score.

Sunderland are going to have to go for goals now, so we need our defence to man up although it will give us opportunities to get a third.

I’m sticking with my pre-match orediction of 2-1.

🤞

It's going to be another of those 3-2 games where end up hanging on and win it at the death isn't it 😂
Yup.

I hate 2 nil. 😂 I know that sounds nuts, doesn't it, but we have this uncanny knack, of if the opposition pull a goal back, they then usually go on to get a second.

Great half. Fantastic strike by Wright for the first. Jamie Allen has been unbelievable first half.

Scoreline aside, this performance makes me wonder what the fuck happened against Derby. Totally different team. We are the ones that want it more today.

We look sharper and fought from the first minute. Wright down the middle has caused them so many problems, and looks like a refreshing choice in that position. The midfield also working very well. Allen is on speed, an unreal performance, and the other two doing their roles very well too.

Let's see this game out, but right now I'm very happy. Even more so with O'Nien getting bullied!
