He does have the most maturity and leadership in this group of players. Which is like being the tallest kid in Year 1, but even so.
Said this before, he was the captain of the England team with foden and co that won the under 17 World Cup. That surely counts for something and shows he had that from a young age and its leadership attributes we could do with even if he isn’t quite in the style of Fadz or Michael Doyle etc

He played for us on the right

If your going to use that at least do his full career stats which show he's a left winger who has played in other positions when needed.
We would be better signing a proper right winger than putting square pegs in round holes.

I haven’t followed him throughout his career I just remember vaguely that when he was with us he was playing on the right and I was not wrong

Lampard has confirmed both Burroughs and Howley are returning to Cov this month. Looks like they will be kept around the squad.
Returning because they are not getting minutes at their loan club. The loans are not working. Nothing more than that.

Regardless, it is another right back and central midfielder - both of which we’re really struggling for depth with. Nothing to say a couple of young PL loans wouldn’t do any worse.

I hope they do well but you can’t plan on that basis. They have failed at 2 consecutive loans now.

To be fair Burroughs could be kept as a back up plan for if we fail to get a back up RB this window. Even if it’s just to have five minutes to give Milan a breather

Children growing up in our country deserve the best start in life, nothing less.

That’s why I’m pleased to let you know that in the first week back in Parliament, Labour has brought forward legislation that will improve the household finances of families and the life chances of children across the country.

The Children’s Wellbeing and Schools Bill is a landmark piece of legislation that puts our plan to give children the best start in life into action.

The Bill will:

  • Drive high and rising standards in schools, putting more qualified, expert teachers in classrooms and teaching a cutting edge curriculum
  • Cut the cost of sending children to school with free breakfast clubs and a cap on the number of branded school uniform items
  • Stop vulnerable children falling through the cracks through landmark reforms to safeguarding

We’re taking these steps so we can deliver on Labour’s mission to break down the barriers to opportunity – to sever the link between background and success.

That means where you come from doesn’t determine where you end up, and that if you work hard, you should be able to get on in life.

Through our Plan for Change, I am determined that this Labour government will make this principle a reality.

Thank you,

Bridget Phillipson MP
Secretary of State for Education

So if Joel goes Burnley - 1/2 Million plus Worrall.

Then we look towards a CM with the additional funds raised by Joel, have we got any ideas who we’d want in. Would like Lewis but think he’d probably cost around 3 million so assume we’d have to sell Fabio to fund?

Who'd have thought Lati would be the next cash cow after Vik & Hamer?
