Playing for Chelsea in the conference league is clearly showing ability. There is zero chance we can afford any premier league player with experience in January.

Did I say we could? I haven't said he doesn't have ability 🤣

It's all about the profit. If he comes and he's any good, impresses, gets bought, in a few years time he will be sold in for big bucks

He's a very talented young boy & will have an exciting career imo, but I really wouldn't expect too much at this stage. He's not even a regular starter for Chelsea U21s currently.

No because he's with the first team squad and regularly playing in Europe

"Regularly"
He's played 105 minutes across their 6 European games, 86 of them in 1 game.

When he's been with the U21s he's on the bench except for 1 start.

he's played in 4 of the 6 games

who talked about minutes? he'll be a great player to have in our squad and can currently do things our current midfielders can't

Playing for them regularly.

he’s played 86 minutes against a team from Kazakhstan

1 minute against Heidenheim
11 minutes against Noah
And 7 minutes against Shamrock fucking rovers.

he’s not playing against good sides ffs
Which current experienced player who plays in european competitions do you suggest we get on loan?

I am surprised it's Rak-Sakyi we're looking at and not Harvey Vale.

Vale obviously much further on in his development & has first team experience out on loan, but we're obviously desperate for a ball winning 4 now with the Sheaf injury.

Exactly, and it’s not as if he’s playing 90 minutes in these fixtures.

we’ve been stung by loaning wonder kids so often I’m amazed as fans we so gullibly say they will give us something instantly

Some clutching at straws here over papering over the cracks with more inexperienced kids. We need leadership and some reliable established professionals, not someone who's here to make mistakes so he doesn't make them for someone else.
Compare this loan signing to Sunderland’s. Literally light and day.

I don't expect us to land players like that in our current position. But we need to be approaching signings like that of Matty James we made first season back up, it's clear as day what this team is lacking and it isn't yet another youngster who'll be great in a few years but not right now.

So none of them ever come off and Lampard gullibly loaned in a couple of kids at Derby that turned out ok by some fluke ?

He'd either be great or like Geal!

A player who had a full season in the Eredivisie before a loan to the Championship?
It was Mounts second loan, Wilson’s 3rd, Tomoris 3rd and he’s using it as some sort of gotcha

this has more similarities with the aderamola loan

If only we had a manager that knew what it took to have a match winning midfield ?!?!? 🤔

No matter, far more experience on the matter on this forum.
