My view is no longer based on us being too good, it’s based on the size of the turnaround it would take and the quality of the bottom clubs. What does “relegation battle” even mean? lol- I still don’t think it will happen, but it’s certainly a justifiable view now. There’s an argument to say this is the most important window we’ve had in years. Get it right and it’s not too late for a late run, get it wrong and not only do we potentially plummet, but we lose so much of the momentum that took the bones of a decade to build.
