I just think Thomas is the first choice Centre half currently, is holding left footed
Thought he was right to be honest?

Today I was told there is money in the pot, positive talks are happening. Could be more than 2 in, watch for outgoings.

I honestly don't want us to bring anyone in.

I am happy to take just avoiding relegation, but it means we have offloaded 6 or 7 of the deadwood we have in our squad.

I hope all we do in Jan is concentrate on selling the gutless and spineless players that have caused our club to go backwards.

Wouldn’t say they’re gutless and spineless, just not good enough for what we need to get top 6

I think a couple of top pros amongst these players will bring out the best of many of them again

I think we need to move on those who are not getting any minutes at all. Makes sense to have different options when you have dormant players.

I think that the problem is the balance of the team, and of course injuries to Wright and EMC have not helped an already tense situation.

If we can bring in the right players, that is always going to help matters, as long as the balance is right, then there are actually some very capable ones already there. Despite what a lot say on here in the heat of the moment. Some of them have already proved what they are capable of.

Confidence is lacking, that can happen at any level, even right at the top.

Think Holding will be a go’er, and will definitely be a cracking signing. I think he’ll come in for Thomas and partner Kitching

I've not heard about a winger. Doesn't mean it's not true, there's been a couple through the door before I heard about them before.
Also, I know there's been definite interest in MVE, Lati, and Kitching.
Thanks man, hopefully get Rob on a permanent deal if possible, sell Lati and decide if we want to play Kitching or not.

Depending on the RB, MVE might be something having a discussion about

250k for Lati
500k for Binks
500k for Kitching
250k for Dasilva
100k for Collins
100k for Tavares

Just under 2 million for mid table League 1 talent.

I think we would be able to maybe get £2.5 million for the lot if we are lucky.

But it's £50 grand a week off the wage bill which is vital.

You say that, how much did we pay for them all?

Lati for money, Kitching for loan. (Can't see the latter happening myself)
Interesting to see who wants Lati? I would definitely cash in, the championship is too quick for him unfortunately.

Considering his promise as a youth player his career has never really got going. Today showed the fundamental flaw for him is his lack of athletic ability. Shame as he can read the game fine.

Wonder if he'll end up in Scotland?

Or could Robins want to put the band back together?

Assuming lati only goes if Rob comes in?
I'd presume only one of the two going out. I'd like to see Kitching get a run now. I know most won't agree or like that, but I see something in him. He's got Captain material in him (I'm not saying he should be our Captain), he just has a bit of bite in him and we desperately need that on the field.

Had this very conversation today. Asking the question of Robins coming in for any of our players. Not sure, but I wouldn't be surprised. I think Lati has been scouted on international duty.

Well he's more than welcome to take Asante, Lati, Jay Dasilva and Binks.

I mean if we got anything near £2 million for all them I'd be buzzing.
