Think dovin will be back in

Reckon it will be a back 4 so kitching and Bidwell wouldn’t surprise me
Emc will start and saka and probably rudoni behind probably bassette
Otherwise normal lot
Mve Thomas eccles sheaf

Is Bidwell ready for 90 minutes?
Be a no brainer for me if he is.

Not sure if FL will have seen anything from Simms in recent games that warrants a start, personally.

Also think Collins will stay in nets.

Lampard/Edwards have worked with Collins, JDS and Simms previously so wouldn’t be surprised to see all three start tomorrow.

I like this team but it does look wobbly defensively and is Bidwell fit?

It is not a deal breaker but I would include Torp at the expense of EMC. I always seem to want 13 players to cover all the contingencies so I really want 5-4-3 doh!!

New manager bounce. (apparently this down to the players having to show the new guy that they are worth their spot in the first team) and after an edgy frantic start a comfortable win

I think if Torp does play, it will be for Rudoni. I think Torp is actually very much Lampard's type of player.

Feel like we've been shite against Welsh teams for ages?

Swansea obviously always beat us. Wrexham beat us a few years back. Lost to Cardiff twice last season.

New manager. Dreadful opposition. About 400 depressed managerless souls in the away end who have endured dreadful away form...

Banana skin written all over it from top to bottom.

...or alternatively they both know how crap at least two of those are. Simms clearly has potential.

The whole EMC situation is bizarre . Surely he was signed to cover/compete with Wright yet now Wright is injured he isn't starting ?
Recently he's started to show glimpses of the player we all hoped he would become
that's because he plays best on the left wing and we have not been playing wingers

If the team can't put in a good performance against Cardiff with a new Manager looking on, then we are f*****

Looking at what Lampard does play either expecting a 523 so agree with the thoughts about players they already know so Collins. MVE Thomas Kitching Binks JDS. Eccles Sheaf. EMC Simms Tats. Or 433 Collins, MVE Thomas Kitching Dasilva, Eccles Sheaf Torp, EMC Simms Tats

Reading on X they only have 98 tickets left from a 2K allocation although their website states the allocation is 2.5K. Either way thats a decent following. If this is true then the home sales probably going to be the lowest of the season as the club expecting a crowd of 26.5K.

Lampard apparently tried to sign Dasilva at Derby
"Apparently" doing a lot of heavy lifting there. If he did then what ever confidence I had in the Lampard appointment has only been further eroded

Read an article about it this week from 2018. Nice to see you base your confidence on something from 6 years ago though.

We now appear to have a fan base divided by those who look for reasons to suggest that Robins would have turned it around whilst looking for the first opportunity / excuse to criticise Lampard and those fans that are grateful to Mark but are happy to move on and give the new manager their full support.

Divided?
How many posters are in the looking to criticise Lampard category? I wouldn't say many.
Same as those trying to trash Robins legacy, a small minority.

Score early, feel good factor, keep pressing…3-0 final score. Well that’s what my heart tells me. Reality hopefully won’t be too different

The key with this match is us scoring first. If we concede first, heads may drop. I sincerely think we will go on a rout and win in style

I think we'll get off to a flyer under Frankie Lamps. Convincing 5-0 win, Bassette hat trick, EMC and Sakamoto with the others.

That's impressive. I know their own fans have been disappointed with their followings this season. They only took 600 for Sheffield Wednesday last week.
