After my post on Friday I'm trying to process what I was told and how it fits in with what has been said in the last few days!
Think the level of coaching is consistent across both what king said, what the post you are referring to says and what I was told.
Out of interest Clint, are you questioning the remainder of my post.

I'm just pointing out that some people are selective of what to believe when they accuse others of doing the same.

Again an ITK who is credible did agree that Viveash was dismissed effectively as he and Robins relationship had broken down
Without Viveash Robins has at best been a mediocre manager at this and all other levels bar Rotherham
He would inevitably be annoyed if having offered them deals the relationship broke down. Robins at that point was vunerable

Would you say Brian clough was a mediocre manager without Peter taylor ?
Had we beaten derby we'd have had a better start than the last 2 seasons by all accounts .. with adi .
Now I'm not disputing mark and adi were better as a team but please do not use the information from doug king to feel like you're correct on mark robins and suggest hes not a huge part in our success
Again , he is one of our most succesful managers ever .. that irritates you I know

Interesting as had never seen the quotes Vivesh was responding to when he said 'i don't think I am difficult to work with. I really don't think it is worth trying to dissect this - there is 7 years of history there and little of it is public record. End of the day - the two fell out which is sad.

I know the argument has always been 'I am sure clubs did come in for him' but ultimately Robins never came close to being nabbed by a bigger club despite years of success.
It's almost like other, bigger clubs knew he wouldn't fit in there without a good assistant.

The owner said that MR was responsible for getting in an assistant and one never materialized.
Chris Ramsey spoke to MR at Ryton on October 9th. The appointment got vetoed on, or before October 14th. The reason given was that the owner thought the timing wasn’t right.
So MR must have known somewhere in between October 9th - 14th that he has a dead man walking.
To me, it seems that whole truth isn’t being told.

Surely it's believable that by then that there were thoughts about Robins going so not going to hire?
The telling bit would be when was given the 3 options King said. If it was August / September it would make a difference to if it was October 7th.

Not saying he was lying, but anyone telling fibs in front of a group of people would surely always pick a story that sounded plausible and would be believed.
Otherwise what's the point? You would be picked apart if your lies could be easily uncovered.
I have no idea if what he said was true, but the best lies are always ones that skate very close to, or go down pretty much the same path as the truth.
People are saying it's true because it matches, but when you are lying, you WANT what you are saying to match.

I think you’ve taken my comment literal, I don’t think they realise how much influence they have, we’ve got a good owner that will be driven away with the rubbish that gets spread. Not only the owner, but the management team aswell, I’ve seen some of the stuff that’s been put online about them, awful. It’s not really small talk is it when 90% of the fan base are saying Doug broke up the adi/mr partnership ?!
So yes, this club will be ruined. Talent will be driven away from the club.

At this point Robins took the wheels off his own bus, the owner has reiterated that today on national radio. Why do fans still think Robins was still the solution. We have averaged a point a game for the last 30 games FFS, that's on Robins and his decision to assemble his coaching team. The scary thing for me is that are load of conspiracy theorists that still don't believe the guy that gave him a four year contract as evidence that he thought he was good at the job. If King could see it falling apart behind the scenes he could not let it carry on. Its time to give the owner a fair crack and stop looking for things that just aren't there. Emotions are making mountains form mole hills at the minute, I want what King wants and if that means moving on without Robins despite all the good he has done then its the right decision.

Yes it was in context poor. Clough once Taylor went had no one to control his alcoholism for a start. He was out of control and the club discipline fell apart. He had to go away for large periods of the season and Archie Gemmell ran the club a lot of the time.

Forest had 5 crazy years , he still won major honours without Taylor.. this is a fact ? He still won more trophies without Taylor than we have in our history

I think what Doug is saying is true….to a point. He gave Robins everything he asked for…until he didnt.
I really truly believe that Doug really wanted to keep Robins and Aidy together and i think that once that was broken up Robins’ next move had to be a stormer. It wasnt
