Did anyone else notice how he wasn't comfortable on the right wing today. he needs to go into the middle where he plays well.

He needs a free role. You can't tie him to the touchline.

Was surprised when he went off to be honest. Thought it was going to be Barton, with Moussa switching inside.

Moussa is not a right winger. Much better coming
in from the left. Wasn't sure about Barton's role. In the team for his height maybe? Christie poor today. Adams and Shef linked up well in first half. City poor second half. Preston deserved the draw IMO.

Baker should of started.

Totally disagree with that. Baker was suspended through stupid bookings and the team that played at Donny deserved to start today. I do however think that he was rightly brought on in the second half although the wrong player was taken off for him.

Never deserved to win, stopped us from playing and resorted to long balls into the box until one eventually lead to a goal

They were better than us in all departments apart from the first 20 mins.

Preston had more possession than us 54% to 46%
More shots than us 12 to our 9
More shots on target than us 8 to our 2
And more corners than us 7 to our 4

Apart from the first 20 we were very poor and Preston were on top

Preston deserved to win. We should be very grateful for the point.

I thought we were the best of a bad bunch, their only good chance (bar the goal) was the shot that hit the crossbar after looking like it was creeping in.

I don't rate them, their tactics were fairly poor and all, but we were poor and that gave them a chance today.

I thought Adams was MOTM, only player to play well.

Jennings and Bailey were ok, Moussa needs to be on the left, Baker on the right (shocked he didn't start).

Elliott was a waste of a sub tbh, Christie gifted him a goal, and he didn't take it.

I thought Christie wasn't as good as he can be, but a few are being harsh on here.

Disagree you have play your best in form players, baker had scored 6 in the last 7 games, is our second highest scorer and captain.

Christie was awful. If Jordan Clark played like that he'd be jeered off the park.

Preston should have won easily.

He should have played and Barton should've been on the bench.

How did you rate Barton and Mcsheffery's performances?

PNE missed a lot of chances, including a couple of headers that went narrowly wide on top of the one that hit the crossbar. You're being a snob because you didn't like their bully boy tactics. Apart from the first 20 PNE were much the better team.

Disagree, Moussa has been best on the left wing, in the middle, he gets neutralised because he has a lack of space, as we seen in early MR era.

That was when he was playing in Jennings role - he struggle there but has been playing mainly In the Barton role with him and sheff swapping since half time vs Hartlepool and has flourished

McSheffrey was pretty poor, as with Barton, however both nearly set up goals, a quality, cheeky pass and if it was McG, 2-0 - bar that, he (Barton) was poor. McSheffrey, couldn't get going, 1-2 corners were ok/good, but most of them were shit - don't know why he takes set plays, seen too much shit off him for too long (in terms of set pieces).

Being a snob? No, their tactics weren't that good, they played for the draw, they got it, with Westley, they aren't getting out of L1.

To counter that they had loads of chances, we could've won the game in the last 10m.

V Walsall, he spent most of the game on the left, I seen him in the middle for very few times.

I think you'll find that McSheffrey did in fact supplied the pull back for the goal, no nearly about it. Did you actually go today? Are you so anti McSheffrey that you can't admit that he was our best attacking threat today?

I came 30m late, the bus I catch normally has 2 stops per 60m, it appears they only run 1 time every hr for the Christmas period.

McSheffrey did well. Looked up for the game and a threat. Barton can be bullied off the ball with ludricous ease. Hopefully he will be out the team for some time.

See my reply to stupot, and no, he didn't play well, he did play a really good ball to Jennings and if a more pacey player got on to it, 2-0, that was a great move.
He over hit the pass, Barton proved today why he is useless in some game. It just wasn't his type of game, Preston were blood and thunder in your faces and Barton didn't want to know. Not sure why Robins played him, his heading is pitiful

I think you are dismissing Preston an looking through your sky blue glasses. They don't play a great style but they will give anyone a tough game an if you beat them it will be well earned hard fought win.
We were fortunate to draw

So does McSheffrey, also, McSheffrey tries to be skilful, when quite clearly he isn't, can't take a man on.

Way too anti Barton for my liking. Thought he played a couple of intelligent balls today. Also got a bit more stuck in than he has in the past. Granted he wasn't brilliant, but he's not nearly as bad as you suggest.

I'm sorry to hear that, you missed our best spell in the game, and pretty much all the threat in that first 25-30 mins was from sheffers

He can. He applied himself well today. A 7 put of 10 performance.
