CBS have purchased the rights to show the Championship this season, and as I understand it they will be showing all fixtures on their Paramount + platform. So unless I'm mistaken, for anyone who either doesn't want to pay for Sky Sports + or illegally stream via a dodgy stick, you could sign up to Paramount + in the US using a VPN for $60 a year - £3 a month.

Is this as well as all of the sky ones or is it just they show them when they are on sky here?

Yeah, so they have the exclusive rights to show live championship matches in the U.S, and they've chosen to put them on Paramount+. The matches they show would be their decision, and not based on what sky are broadcasting in the UK. As sky are putting all matches in Sky Sports + in the UK, it won't be as many matches live as shown here but it will still be a lot.

I have the UK version. Doubt it will work with VPN tho

I've done a little reading, and it seems you have to specifically sign up to United States Paramount+ (unlike Netflix where you can sign up anywhere and use in the country you find yourself in). If you have a Fire TV you can download a VPN app on the store, turn it on, and then sign into the Paramount+ app - supposedly quite simple.

Not as good as a dodgy stick though and you get all the NFL games and Pay Per View. Most of the films as soon as they're at the cinema. The only thing sometimes lacking is Netflix stuff for a short while.

Be intresting to see attendances nationally.
won't be impacted at all i imagine, people that go to football want to be at the football not sat in front of the tele.

Everyone now has access to watch whatever game they want (legally or illegally!) and they still choose to go (y)
