Got his caps against Iceland (played 45) in late 2023 & Estonia in 2024 (whole 90) does look like they were Swedish based players in squad rather than clubs abroad. Has played 8/9 for U21s too but again not massive nations. Sure he’s got higher ceiling than current crop though.
Hope people remember he’s 22 which is ridiculously young for a goalkeeper, he’s not going to be the finished article.

The last consistently decent keeper we had was probably Murphy. I still can’t believe a fair percentage used to trot out the usual excuses after Burge’s regular cock ups.
Moore in 21-22 was brilliant. Just quietly went about his game almost unnoticeable. Hope Dovin is similar.
Burge was absolute tripe. As said above, only decent keeper Robins had was Marosi. I guess Moore was ok for a bit.

Was a fan of Joe Murphy. Another pretty good keeper who got slagged off for not being World Class in the championship and L1.
I always rated Charles-cook more than Burge. I agree with Murphy and before him Westwood. But even before them we had a season with Shearer, Steele and Bennett. GK has been a problem position as a whole for years with one or two exceptions such as Murphy and Westwood
