We have the transfer window fast approaching and with Fisher and Waggotts stated new way of doing things and Ms. Sepalla's personal hands on approach will our owners allow Mark Robins a little flurry in the transfer market or some realistic loans, not kids out of a premiership clubs A team. We have improved under Robins and with a tweak or two might, just might push towards those play-off spots. Forget the McGoldrick issue for now that will sort it's self out but we are in need of atleast two maybe three better quality players if we are to push on. The question is though do SISU want to push on ? The championship is more expensive to play in than division 1

If we're going to sign two or three, then Robins will have to sell. We already have a very big squad. Don't forget we signed ten in the close season, Robins added several loanees, with not many going out. The size of the wage bill would be a concern no matter who owns the club, so my guess is SISU will say "Finance your own transfers - wheel & deal."

The following need to go in order to bring anyone in

Henderson- send him back to Arsenal
Brown- Ditto Utd
Bell- maybe loan him out as I can't see anyone paying actual money for him
O'Donovan- Ditto
Malaga- loan out again is the only viable option
Then we could get some of the youngsters out on loan for experience such as Jeffers, Roberts, Willis

well personally i think SISU should take a left turn out of the car park down to the roundabout turn right on to A444 up to junction 3 of M6 to M1 and head south to London ............. and not come back

just an opinion like

Dont think there will be any new money to finance players..... and the squad/wage bill be expected to be trimmed

It would appear he isn't in Robins plans so would be the obvious choice to off load as for the others surplus to requirements, I can't see any of them dropping their wages to move to lower league sides.

looks like we will be stuck with a few unwanted wage takers

SISU won't invest so it's going to have to be self funding which means we have a problem - the dead weight won't be wanted anywhere for the wages they are already on so they will stay and screw out it what they can for as long as they can - so that's going to leave precious little for MR to play with.

If they had any real ambition they would have adjusted the 'plan' and invested to get McGoldrick - there's your answer right there - only hope MR doesn't get too frustrated - that'll be my big concern
