Discuss what impact Simms has in this game…you can read?
He did actually make the Bristol City centre backs turn and face their own goal, which helped us get into their 3rd with better possession. It's something Godden didn't manage.

I don't mind what he does to celebrate.

His goals have been few and far between, so if that goal gives him a boost and he kicks on then great.

He's had some proper stick, and it's been deserved imo, but if he wants to do that when he does score I'm sure we can take it.

Let's hope we see it a bit more often.

Nah, it is a shit move.

We pay his wages and he hasn't been good enough. If he was getting criticism and it wasn't deserved you could defend it a bit. Even Godden, who I usually defend to the hilt, pissed me off when he did it. He hadn't been playing well at the time (despite his previous goal record), and he should be above doing stuff like that too. We are a great bunch of fans and get behind the team really well. There's no need.
I think you are taking this a bit too seriously friend. He has been getting stick, and tbh and think of me what you want, if I was in his shoes good chance would have done the same thing. Not like he flipped the fans off or yelled out for them to fuck off I mean really.

Hopefully that gives him some confidence, tap in or no, and he can progress from here on out. Would highly like for him to start over Godden against Norwich also FWIW.

“We pay his wages”

The mating call of an arse. You don’t pay anyone’s wages and even if you did it doesn’t give you a right to be a nob. “Should be above doing stuff like that” give over.

Who's being a nob? There's 1% that are giving him shit, most of the rest of the criticism he has got has been constructive and well grounded, which you cannot say hasn't been deserved. He's been massively underwhelming and if it wasn't for players like Wright and Sakamoto winning us games, would have been more exposed to it. He scored a tap in. Contribute a bit more over a longer period and if the noise is still going on then I think it can be a bit more tolerated to give some back. I stand by what I said, I don't agree with shushing your own fans.

We might lose but I don't really think we're the kind of team to get thumped these days. Whens the last time we even were thumped? Not this season for sure... guessing Stoke at home last season.

It’s the championship, pretty much everyone will fall to a pounding at some point.

Bit delicate mate , you seen the absolute gash our fans aim at our players on socials ?

Suck it up

No, I don't really use social media, but I can quite imagine after seeing some of the stuff that was going on with Godden. Most of the stuff on here has been pretty fair from what I've seen, other than the odd post.

I still don't agree with shushing your own fans. Doesn't really matter who the player is. Sorry, that's just my view.

Massively underwhelming or played a big part in our uplift inform before Xmas and over the Xmas period ?
If you don’t like him or rate him fair enough but don’t get emotional when he gives it back

Draw just about a fair result. We weren’t at our best. No need for that celebration from Simms, not going to get our backing if he carries on with that.

Hopefully sheaf won’t be out for too long. Torp looks a very good player once he gets used to the speed of the league.

take the point and move on, still on a very good undefeated run and my lucky pants are still going strong!
A fine save by Collins near the end.

Simms added something when he came on. He was far more involved and gave them something to worry about for the first time all game.

Didn’t see his celebration but so what? He’s showing passion/emotion/attitude whatever you want to call which he’s been criticised for.

He needs to play games; his hold up and link play will benefit us.

Unfortunately, as we established on Friday, some have already made up their minds.

Any scouts watching O’Hare will have gone away with a clear “wait till he’s free” message
Still think there's every chance we can replace him with someone better. Still like him to sign but if he doesn't we'll be fine.

His size and mobility will always worry centre halves , add to that his clumsiness and awkwardness he must be a nightmare to predict what he’s going to do

There's no doubt now. Godden needs to be put out to grass. Great servant but we can't continue playing with 10 men plus the occasional touch from Godden.

That was just pure and simple flat. Even the support wasn't there. The bit of squad rotation could have cost us. Players knackered. Players coming back from injury.

Bristol deserved their point. But we kept up with our run and also scoring 2 or more a game. Let's move on. Not going to win every game.

I think it’ll be a mistake by Robins if he opts to continue with Godden at Norwich. Hope he doesn’t do what he did with Walker

Simms has played laid it off and connected the midfield and got himself a goal.
