Wonder if Nixon mystery man is Ahmedhodzic, meant to be leaving blades. Would definitely be ambitious.

Would we be going for another CB ? We have the two main reprobates and Lati, Bidwell and potentially Binks who can play there.

Doubt we'll get him - no way we can afford him unless that Gyokeres money comes in. I don't think he would even sign for us anyway, why would he drop down a division?

Any chance of a raid of Reading's squad? Such a shame what's happening to them, but Luton have taken advantage of their situation with Holmes, maybe someone like Femi Azeez there? He's pretty handy and could make the step up a division, as well as getting him relatively cheaply?

I think we should be actively in the hunt for an O'Hare replacement, people are panicking whether or not he will sign a new deal. I honestly struggle to understand why we should be worried, apart from his recent purple patch of goals O'Hare has always been nothing more than a tidy Kasey Palmer. He is not even on the same planet as Gus Hamer and to think O'Hare believes he could cut it in the Premier League is both naive and silly. I have kept a close eye on Hamer since his move to Sheffield United, mainly because he is one of our best players in many years. I always thought Hamer could have played at a higher level than Sheffield United, teams like West Ham, Brentford, Palace and similar level clubs. I was completely wrong after watching as many games as i can Hamer has played in the Prem. He has had his moments, but Hamer doesn't have the speed both on or off the ball to really stand out, his passing in the Championship was a stand out whereas in the Premier League it's very ordinary. If O'Hare believes he will play Premier League Football and thrive he will be find out the hard way. Just look back at a few players that are levels above O'Hare and have massively failed in the Premier League recently. Philippe Coutinho being a prime example, was a player that 10 years ago was an absolute world class talent during a very different Premier League era (pre Pep era. Coutinho rejoins the Premier League at Villa during an era where players who are seen as luxury or creative talents are no longer deemed valuable due to the tactical changes adopted by clubs in the Premier League mainly due to Pep. Coutinho struggled and was exposed by oppositions tactically. O'Hare will be absolutely no different, he won't have 1 second on the ball to create something from nothing, the Premier League defenders are all stronger, quicker and tactically levels above and O'Hare will not be the special one us Cov fans see him as when he is playing for a Premier League side.

Well yeah, some good points other than the difference with CoH in the team is marked, and other than his goals and creative play, and the fact he is constantly occupying opposition defenders (yes due in part to the ‘O’Hare hype’), it’s the effect he has on the team and also the fans, both have been lifted noticeably since he’s been back in the team…

you wouldn’t get the same effect in a new team, but I still think he’s good enough for the prem in many ways and if, sorry when we go up next season I’d rather he was in our team than not

I agree mate i would rather him playing for us in the Prem solely because we love him and he also knows our squad inside out. He will flop at any club he plays for in the Prem other than playing for us in that division.

I think he’s a bit on the too ambitious side. Can’t see him going for less than 15m

I could be wrong but I doubt he’d flop - he wouldn’t be the main star man though, and I do think if he moves it might be to a team on the way up from our league rather than one already there - the only team in the Prem I could see at the minute looking is Burnley and they’re not gonna be there for much longer by the looks of things…

Luton may also be interested, and he would 100% improve their team, but again that would be at best a sideways step to come straight back down again, and in both cases with parachute payments who’s to say they won’t strengthen further next season leaving CoH warming the bench 🤷🏼‍♂️

Luton play a 4 3 2 1 with Jordan Clarke, Andros Townsend and Ross Barkley often filling the positions behind the striker, i highly doubt Callum O'hare getting into that side ahead of Townsend and Barkley.

Could it be Talles Magno of New York City FC, he’s a brazillian winger who can play across the front line, 21 years old, and is wanted by Bologna. Main position LW
It could be literally anyone. That's the beauty of a vague rumour.
