Anyone talking of relegation needs to chill out. We aren't far off getting a tune out of the players really. A bit of confidence and composure and we'll be more than fine.

Also we have cash in the bank for January, the obvious holes in our squad will get address
Same was said after Bristol.

Why didn't the holes get filled before the season? We were too busy chasing kitching.

He could have kept the Vic and Gus money, he didn't he gave Robins a healthy wedge.
Agreed he hasn't put any of his own money in.

Is Wright part of this Brentford model farce? Are any of those signings? Only one showing any worth is Sakamoto.

Just updating the post I made on Wednesday:

Interesting stat. We have lost all the games we have had a significant higher amount of possession. The Rotherham commentary team mentioned it.

61% Wimbledon lost 2-1
64% Cardiff lost 3-2
66% Rotherham lost 2-0
68% Bristol lost 1-0
66% West Brom lost 2-0

Where as the 3 wins we had similar or less possession

49.5% Middlesbrough won 3-0
48% QPR won 3-1
34.5% Blackburn won 1-0

We aren't a possession team, we don't have the players for it. Even without Gus and Vik we are better on the counter, sucking teams out and then hitting them on the break[/b]
Yep it's stark we aren't a possession team, we look devoid of ideas at the edge of the box, sheaf just ended up taking potshots.

The times we looked sharp were when a WBA attack or pass broke down and we pounced.... Well should have but Wright fluffed it.

I preferred the box, it looked more comfortable today 1st half.

absolutely awful.

boils down to Robins trying to implement a completely new playing style that we’re not capable of implementing.

Wilson is nowhere near the keeper he was last year because he doesn’t have the same protection. He need taking out.

the defence can’t gain any understanding because they’re constantly chopping and changing. Fadz is the only constant and he’s not suitable for this style with his lack of pace exposing us.

What has Bidwell done wrong?

Why has MVE gone backwards as a player already?

Static in the middle because we can only play a holding two. Not replacing Hamer is still baffling. Don’t give me deals falling through. We should have had something signed and sealed before he was sold.

At AM we have a bunch of reasonable players who together will give you no output. O’Hare and Palmer never had a good goals or assist ranking.

Strikers get no help but are incapable of making anything happen on their own. They rarely get a chance to run in behind because the style is to hold the ball for pointless possession. When they do get behind they fluff their lines.

Wright is a waste of money.

it’s like we’re trying to emulate a style of football that has been out of favour for about a decade. Swansea played lovely possession stuff for years and have enjoyed lower half finishes for it.

The intensity has gone. The belief has gone. The team clearly don’t trust each other or are scared to be the one to do anything outside of the plan.

A transition season is something we’re going through but a lot of hard working people give up a lot of their disposable to watch this and it isn’t good enough. Transition normally means inconsistency, we are consistentjust consistently ad.

I’m not suggesting Robins has to go, he’s got a lot of credit in the bank. He is using that credit now though. You can’t spend the money we have and regress as much as we have.

MR needs to put this on his own shoulders. Make a point that he is still the man and dot it out. You can have games with favourable or unfavourable refs. Supporters can be vocal or quiet. It is his job as a manager to not use any excuses and turn it around.
I think that’s right it requires strikers to make runs and shoot otherwise it’s just so lacking

Nonsense. No goals of our own in 4 games. Conceding awful goals every game and looking toothless going forward.

The manager wanted a possession based game and we’re getting 65-70% each match but no points.

I will never forget the play off final equaliser. One of the best counter attacking goals I've ever see. It will live with me for many years.
We no longer have the players capable of that. The confidence has ebbed and that means keeping possession becomes more difficult. The players look as though they simply are waiting for an outlet up front and there isn't one. The passing has been good at times coming from defence but in recent games it's apparent that it's going nowhere and teams are defending with relative ease. It's predictable. It's toothless.

Main issue is we build up so slowly. By the time we reach the attacking third the opposition have 9 or 10 men behind the ball and then you need world class technicians to break a team down.

Robins needs to be coaching to move the ball quicker even if that means we give up some possession. It’s not working at all.

In Jan the priority has to be a dynamic central player to replace Eccles in the starting 11.

Are you and @Matt smith tired of being constantly proved wrong though?

Incessant bedwetting and meltdowns and it works out fine.

It has been shite. Today was crap bit we were beat by a flap by Wilson and offside goal. We need to sort it out but it's small margins.
Besn shit all season, only game we looked like we would win was Leicester and we know why that was, hint hamer.

I don't like the new style and it has been a letdown of a season but there is no way we are going down.

Zero chance

I think he could be gone soon unless things turn around. Not sure history will mean much to King, particularly with the money spent.
I think the majority of fans, me included, will give Robins more time to correct this given what he has done for us since taking over.
I don't think Doug King will be so patient.

We had a one on one to equalise, that fell to an £8 million international striker who couldn't hit the target. Had that of gone in it could have been a different story.

And what the fuck worked out fine you dickhead? Go look at the table!!!!

You moan all the fucking time, honestly the worst on here. Every bilp, every defeat, every slow transfer window, everytime we sell a player the sky is falling in. You never learn
Praise players and manager when they deserve to be praised

Seems to me this is a trend in modern football.
