With how poor we were against QPR, we've got nothing to lose by changing up completely. Try something new, sack Robins, change to a 6-1-2-1, put Godden in goal, send Wright out on loan to Leamington, have Rus in central defence for Thomas, and bring Howley back to start on the wing. Sakamoto should have free license to run around the pitch aimlessly in no set position.

Channelling @Greggs again?

There is a 'Waggott out' thread on the Blackburn forum. He's come up with a familiar sounding cost saving idea: closing one of the stands behind the goal

After a second sub-par Godden performance in a row, will he finally unleash Wright and Simms?
Surely now that Simms has scored we should drop him like the calls to drop Godden.

'He's getting in Godden's way and his goals aren't enough to justify his place in the team.'

All 3 will be back after the break

Palmer potentially too
Think Milan could even play on Saturday, what he was implying to a friend of mine when he bumped into him, great news after what seemed like a really bad one

If Godden's goals dry up, it's time to drop him. He doesn't do enough besides them.

Some wanted him dropped when he was the top scorer in the division for two players who had one goal between them.

Dropping him for £12m worth of strikers you mean?

Ironically, he's done better this week but not scored. Robins will never drop him unless he goes on a baron run of no goals.

Godden 100% starts at the moment over wright, even if he doesn’t score for the next 3/4

Absolutely.

I love Godden, it's not a campaign against him. I'd be keen to see Wright and Simms up top together.
I’d rather see that in a friendly. Godden is still worth his place and now Simms has started to join the party….let’s let them form an understanding. The team comes first !
Be fantastic to get back to back wins with another home game to follow 🤞
