Think Kitching will be it. Overall a good window but wish we had signed another midfielder

More than a forward? Seems Robbins is going with 2 up top this season and we have 3 experienced forwards one of which has a very poor injury record?

I think Viks was fully disclosed and with Sporting covering Brighton sell on meant it was around 20m from memory. Hamers less clear
Coventry City's Viktor Gyokeres set to complete £20m move to Sporting today

"The Record claim the deal is worth €20m (£17m) up front with €4m (£3m) in add-ons based on goals and appearances."

So that would be £17m rising to £20m potentially. The sell on would just mean that we don't further reduce that to pay Brighton out of it.

But we can always resort to one if needed. Plus I think he has been genuinely impressed with a couple of youngsters coming through, who can at least offer cameos in certain situations helping us to develop our own. Good enough to perhaps see us through to next window when we can re assess.

Maybe not perfect but nothing ever is.

Good luck to him, thought he'd have better offers.

Bit cheeky announcing a free agent signing on deadline day mind

Does he? Did he tell you this?
“There have been one or two who have shown up really well, the likes of Justin Obikwu and Evan Eghosa, and then there’s Kai Andrews who is only 16 years of age. So there are some really good young boys there”. That’s a direct quote from Robins
