I'm a big fan of those signings I just don't know if we will be able to get both for much less than 7 mill
Luckily Styles' release clause allows someone to acquire him for less than you would have to pay otherwise, so there's no real negotiation there other than on the player side. Kitching i guess is unclear but i'd think about 3.5?

I'm sure they rejected 3.5 including add ons with 2.5 upfront

We have the money.
Do we though if we are looking to sign kitching and styles too ?
Do the sums, according to Robins he has all the Hamer money to invest and my fag packet maths says we still have a chunk of the Gyokeres money left.
Difficult to take in but think back a year we have little old Coventry City last years paupers of the championship having already bought a shed full of better players so obviously paying higher wages are still sitting on 15/20 million quid to spend AND only one loan so far.

My fag packet maths says, up front fees only:

In:
£30m Vik & Gus (guessing Gus’ fee)
(Plus a couple of extras like the Maddison sell on and whatever)

Out:
Wright - 7.7
Simms - 3.5
van Ewijk - 3.5
Thomas - 2
Sakamoto - 1.5
Latibeaudiere- 0.5
Collins - 0.5

Total: 19.2m

I reckon we’ve got about £10m left to spend. Assuming Doug is giving Robins the full fees and nothing more. I’m still not convinced he isn’t putting more into the playing side.

Robins seems to use every media appearance as an opportunity to mention he needs a few more so I think he knows money is there but needs to put a little pressure on King to see it.

£12m for Gus after the sell on to P.E.C, So we have about 12 left to lob about

Lot of guesswork in the figures as we don't know the true extent or structure of most of the fees. I don't get the sense we are spending on the never-never though. 4 more quality additions is pretty exciting.

We must have had a fund outside anything from Hamer and Gyokeres to start with surely? Obviously no clue how much but I would guess that maybe only Wright's fee may have come from the Gyokeres cash? maybe thats day dreaming I dont know but I am confident we haven't got close to spending the Gyokeres money.

interested to see how our wage budget compares this year to last.

We've got some relatively high earners off the wages (Waghorn,Walker etc), but have now spent large transfer fees on players who inevitably will be on higher wages.

Surely we won't still be in the bottom 2/3 wage wise?

I’d say we have done in part to cover the higher wages these arrivals will have had.

Would be happy if it is the Dani Pereira chap who was mentioned a few weeks ago. Nice showcase of what he can do below. Stats say he's a much more accurate passer than Hamer.

The season ticket money must be treble last seasons, selling nearly 6000 , all the fees will be structured as will the Gyorkeres and Hamer deals. But we are able to shop in the big market at the moment.
