Whereas match tickets go on sale now, off the back of Wright being revealed for example, would have about 3000 people snapping them up at £30 a pop, way more monmey than the potential handful that will get an ST at this point

Could be trying to squeeze a few more ££££ as it's payday week for a lot of folks and they might genuinely think "yea go on then" off the back of a few big money (for us) signings.

I guess the introduction of the cap is to generate a bit of FOMO.

Absolutely. Far more convenient and less likely to lose or forget it and have to pay for a replacement. Seems so backward in this day to have physical tickets. Obviously would have to make provision for people who don't use technology.

You’d be able to have it on your phone. But I’m tight when it comes to phones so my battery runs out after about 15 minutes. I use it for most other things but I want a season ticket as an actual card at least.

Plus I don’t trust the club. They’ll fuck something up. Once I’ve got that season card I feel like I don’t have to worry about it anymore.
