MK Dons were 3rd in the league.

Have Man City written off their title chances because they drew at home to Arsenal?

Man city are 4 points behind the league leaders with 12 points from 6 games with a goal difference of +4

We're 11 points from 6th place and 17 points from top with a -7 goal difference

For the record, I don't think we can get promoted. But my point was simply that a side aspiring to be near the top shouldn't always write off home draws as bad results.

In my opinion, it's more like West Ham getting a home draw against Arsenal.

As said earlier, were we ever serious about promotion? Merely a pipe-dream I'm afraid.

Maybe like Liverpool drawing at home with Arsenal. A team that should be further up the league but had a bad start.

Indeed. Especially when you've only won one game all season.

Wish I had your optimism.

Bournemouth were one of the favourites touted to go up this season. Not the best of starts so far, but I don't think they are going to be an easy proposition at all.

Good thing is they'll probably be saying the same thing about us.

Pretty much like us.

Through a number of factors we have a squad of players with incredebly low confidence. As robins has said there is a long road ahead and I do believe for the first time in a long while we have the right man for the job.
However as a result we need to take things game by game, starting consistently picking up points, winning and building the confidence and then assess from there.
Is to early to right of our season and I still believe that we could make play-offs but we need to walk before we can run.

A man sat behind me said tonight we should win every game in this league. Whilst I always hope we will win his expectation that we always should is both arrogant, disrepectful to the other teams in the league and indicitive of one of the root problems we have.

We need to get behind the team and as robins said help by being the twelth man and see where that takes us.

One step at a time we can lift this club.

the way i see it sounds like we played better vs mk dons than we did oldham, and we did better vs oldham than carlcise(just)

so whilst we improve every game with robins i am happy to be patient, the points will pick up rapdly i am sure.

also still only 11 points off playoffs, we will pick up alot more than we dont from now on till end of season imo.

Not sure we can make the play offs, but I can see a slow improvement in the side. Robins needs time, I expect and mid table finish with a serious challenge next season.

If anyone thought we had any chance of even being in the top half then you need to seek medical help immediately, wake up people!!
