Fair one mate , cheers just getting this in before grendel adds it to his black book
That spell of games where we had Panzo, Doyle, and Rose to an extent forgetting they were footballers could have done with somebody, anybody we could bring in to take one of them out the firing line for a bit, too. Might have even got us a few more points...

Particularly as, as it stands, we only have one (36 year old) centre back contracted to the club next season!

Hoping we can sign McNally on a permanent deal though.

I hope we can sign McNally and get Doyle back. If Forrest stay up Panzo might be available? I don't think he has developed as much as Doyle with us - but we need centrebacks.

Id back Panzo, I reckon once he fills out he’ll be some player.
*If* he fills out.

Still think there's a LWB in there rather than centre back as it stands. He's had an odd season though, that's for sure!

Panzo is a strange one. He's certainly got talent but he just blows far too hot and cold.

He really needs to find a club that will stick with him and give him time to succeed, something he hasn't ever had in his career - Robins frankly hasn't got the patience to be carrying him through the inevitable dodgy spells.

Apologies to dig up an old thread, but my mind always wonders back to the Hyam sale. Seemed so short-sighted, A defence of Hyam + Thomas/Kitching now would be ideal.

I don't now. There were plenty of posters like you who slagged him off.

He seems to have done pretty well since he left us and has had a good Championship career. I suspect if Blackburn were to sell him in the Summer they would make a tidy profit!
Isn't he out of contract the end of this season

In the Telegraph, it said Hyam is out of contract at the end of the season?
I'd have him back. Definite transfer to Stoke on the cards.

Blackburn have a 1 year option on his contract, which they will obviously trigger.
Especially when they miss out on the playoffs 😀

I wouldn't if you are looking for progression

Was a fan of the Hyam Rose partnership. They were what we needed at the time. Although Fadz was the glue
